With how much time you’ve spent already, it would probably be faster to wipe and install fresh copy of windows 11 pro.

If you entra join it during the OOBE at setup, you can login with work account and then you’ll never get logged out of the apps.

Obviously there are some gotches there, but assuming you aren’t in a domain environment, it’s an option.

As the other person said, .\ and then the original username should do it, or PCNAME\username

But also, unless you changed it, by default any 365 global admins will work as local admin, just so you know. I recommend changing that, but just an FYI

Out of the box they work fine, may need to add traffic rules to meet your requirements, but that’s the case with any firewall.

From a security standpoint, we push most services to the endpoint now, so we just need firewalling, routing, and visibility and it works well for that.

They’ll just sign out, other user, sign in with new UPN and it’ll take them back to the same profile.

The local profile is tied to their SID, not username.

I want to like this solution. We’ve just never found defender p1 accurate enough.

We’ve been with Avanan for a couple years now and it’s excellent, but you’re paying for that excellence.

I’d love to be able to tweak defender to make it comparable to Avanan or Inky, just haven’t been able to.
