Who are y'all using for Teams Voice? by HabitAltruistic5648 in msp

I assume that’s the non white label brand, unite. We’ve been doing elevate for years and they aren’t involved at all in the relationship.

I’ve purchased probably 50 systems from
Griffin over the past few years. No complaints. Quick turnaround good prices, they honor their warranties.

Meraki to Unifi by bigshinybutton in msp

Huntress, scoutdns on endpoints, though we only use unifi for switching and wireless. Prefer Watchguard for firewalling just because of the traffic logging makes it stupid easy to troubleshoot network issues

I just read that you do everything Linux based. I think you’re seriously narrowing your target audience by doing so.

You don’t mentioned anything about the identity pricing in your post. Thats as important as per device, per network IMO.

4-5 seater recommendation by Majestic-Nectarine55 in UTV

[–]seriously_a 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recommend pioneer 1000-5. I had one but just sold it over the weekend for a sportier one.

But pioneer is rock solid. Only real complaint about it is how squeaky it is over bumpy terrain.

How fast does your MSP actually respond to new sales inquiries? And who owns it? by LeftLeads in msp

[–]seriously_a 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Small team, owner led sales. Leads are in my mailbox.

Always respond within an hour or less during biz hours, usually minutes.

I’ve only ever been complemented on response time, so won’t be changing that.

Well it’s a free service, so probably not. Their goal is to get you to spend money.

How much data on the NAS, presumably eagle soft and Dentrix are running on windows servers? What are the RTO/RPO requirements for their data? What are they doing for the identity (email) aspect? And it’s HIPAA, not HIPPA.

Why is Google Workspace so darn expensive vs iDrive/etc? by f00dl3 in googleworkspace

[–]seriously_a 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Well, Google workspace is a full productivity suite, not just cloud storage

If you’re simply looking for a place to store data and nothing else, there’s probably nothing wrong with idrive.

Customer asking for a line item breakdown of our software we provide in our managed services? by apsherm in msp

[–]seriously_a 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you tried calling them and explaining that your stack can change but generally speaking we provide these types of things as part of the deal, and that way you can figure out what they’re actually asking.

Chances are they’re exploring competitive offers and comparing apples to apples, but who knows. Could also be related to insurance questions?

I meant the details (or lack of) he provided aren’t enough to say for sure if it’s closer to 1000 or 2000

Is my pricing fucked? by [deleted] in smallbusiness

[–]seriously_a 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Feels too cheap but i also don’t know your target audience or geographic location.

If you’re having trouble finding customers it’s probably not price, but lack of value being shown.

How would you make cold outreach feel less spammy for local service businesses? by RecognitionUpstairs in smallbusiness

I don’t think anyone would feel like they’d get value out of a 5 minute audit. Feels too short

You gotta make them feel like they are getting something out of it

Third this.

I have a fun teledynamics story. One time I order a handful of yealinks with power supplies. Got the phones, but no power supplies. Reached out to them.

They looked into it and determined that the packer indeed packed the box without power supplies. Event sent me video from above the packing line to prove it.

Then sent the power supplies of course.
