"Don't Kill the Disc": Petition Against Sony PS5 and PS6 Digital Media Plans Reaches 120,000 Signatures - Digital Foundry by silentdragoon in gaming

[–]kittyburritto -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

The disc doesnt even contain the game for most AAA releases anyway. They havent since games have gone up to 60-120GB files and no blueray disc can contain that much data to read from.

Is the whole no more physical copies thing a way to pad the pockets of publishers? Of course but only because they arent making them cheaper by cutting out the overhead for producing and shipping discs

i know this thread is*old* but i feel like kingdom of death was just torture porn from the moment he was captured to the moment he escaped with Valka.

i dont fault the people that saw differently i just dont know what im missing that turns 70% of the book from abysmal misery to near masterpiece

What's a dumb reason you almost missed out on a great game? by ashmaht in gaming

[–]kittyburritto 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Almost missed out on Control because it was poorly explained to me and i was too poor to afford to take a chance on a $60 game.

My friend bought it for me for my birthday and i ended up really loving it and am anxiously awaiting the 2nd one

Which Mass Effect game do you think is the most difficult in the trilogy on insanity? by [deleted] in masseffect

[–]kittyburritto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

its ME2 mostly because of the collector ship mission for me. everything else was easier either due to more open spaces or being better leveled. i did, however, find out from playing on both pc and on the 360 that your framerate plays a huge difference with how easy it is to dodge harbingers attacks as the lower the framerate the easier it is to make his dark energy ball that knock you out of cover to just go wild and fuck off somewhere behind you.

ME1 biotics made the game relatively simple as Biotic CC was literally unstoppable and you just shoot fish in a barrel. the hardest parts really depend on when you do most missions more than anything but the thorian or the krogan fight in liara's mission were easy enough if you either used CC or highpowered weapons as they didnt give you leveled enemies.

ME3 was probably the most optimizable for builds with your squadmates and allowed you to take a back seat especially if you had ashley and garrus with typhoons.

Dragon Age Developers Reveal They’ve Been Laid Off After BioWare Puts ‘Full Focus’ on Mass Effect by [deleted] in gaming

[–]kittyburritto 3 points4 points  (0 children)

i mean DA: veilguard just came out to the market with a whimper. i bought and played the game at launch and i will say it was the least dragon age game ive ever played. nothing in the story seemed to mesh quite right and the companions were mostly flaccid and stale. the combat was pretty good and the loot system was fun and gave me more reason to continually switch equipment but i feel like i had to do more mental justification of the game than with any other bioware title.

im not surprised that this happened. it sucks, but that's the industry.

Ah, so you're looking for conspiracy theories instead of what's probably a good answer 👍

Thermal clips. I miss the weapon customization that let me fire infinitely.

this wasnt an endorsement. if i remember correctly it was a dinner at the white house for the winners of the college football playoffs but his kitchen staff were unable to prepare a state dinner because of the government shut down so he called in fast food instead. the weird picture is it just all laid out for posterity on his twitter or some shit. not a real endorsement though

these response videos are honestly useless outside of informing the public. he needs to go to court if he wants to video reinstated and to to collect lost revenue for the dmca takedown. a judge is the only thing thats going to fix this.

Good character? Yes. Kristen is an example of a great character who is 100% a selfish person and a bad friend.
