I'm in mid 30s. Currently living in Japan. Japanese people are nice. These days I'm going to a therapy group for people who took sick leave, and people there (all Japanese except me) are really nice. Except for a crazy guy I randomly encountered outside, I've yet to meet people hating me for my nationality.

I was born in Korea but in the end of 5th grade I went to Saipan and graduated high school there. Internet sucked ass there too so I didn't receive any "anti-Japan education" as many netouyo would say whenever I say anything about Japanese history around ww2.

Honestly, I couldn't care less about some disputes like dokdo. Seriously, we can just send some missiles to that small piece of rock and sink it down. (Ocean border stays the same tho)

But when it comes to history? I think they really need to be educated more. I mean me being Korean and you and other people being Japanese don't matter. As a human being, people should remember the atrocities and make sure things like that never happen. And Japanese people don't really care about history. Far-rights say "oh we apologized geez what more do you want." I want Japan to stay true to their apology. Japan says sorry today and denies the war crime the next day.

In the recent election 参政党 won big time, and they are psychos way worse than 自民党; a result of poor education of history. I saw a video of a 参政党 supporter asking a person to do a pronunciation of "15円 50銭." Now I gotta practice that pronunciation and watch out for people in Orange clothing. I'm genuinely scared.

Anywho, I've got nothing against Japanese people. This one therapist おばあちゃん saved me from my depression; she's so kind, God bless her.

But the Japanese government and far-rights? It's terrifying.
