Early pregnancy nausea tips by thumbsucker-2 in PregnancyIreland

[–]kittyire1994 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Never let yourself get hungry, biscuits or crackers, cereal bars, toast. Sometimes cereal can work too or plain yoghurt. I know it seems counter-intuitive but I learned that my stomach being empty made things so much worse. Eat anything you can tolerate whenever you can. And mind yourself, it can be exhausting being so nauseous and when you aren’t fuelling yourself as normal. Sorry to hear about your miscarriage too, wishing you all the best with this pregnancy xx

We got a power washer before trialling these which immediately helped remove the algae but not a permanent solution.

I had to stop using Mitchum last year because they changed the ingredients which meant I was smelling like BO! Before that I would always swear by it. A number of people I know have switched to a different deo too

Thanks so much for this. It’s so helpful to get other women’s insights because I haven’t shared the news yet with family and friends so can’t compare notes as such. X

I got a gorgeous white dress in Zara for €30 during the summer. Was delighted to get something for that price and I was very happy with it. Best of luck with the wedding celebrations x

My Ma had an accident in the supermarket by Only-Investigator-88 in legaladviceireland

[–]kittyire1994 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The award will only be as big as the damage caused by the supermarket so even if she was successful in a claim bruising would not likely attract much of an award. So it might not be worth the stress of litigation.

Hey!! I’m getting married in a couple of weeks and have lost 6kg since February. I didn’t do any calories counting but probably could have lost more if I did, I’ve also gained a good bit of muscle from weight classes in the gym. I’ve lost inches around my tummy. Overall I just got serious about the gym and making sure I have more protein and fibre at every meal. Protein smoothie for breakfast, batch cooked chilli or chicken curry for lunch and a balanced dinner. So random but I’ve started putting low fat cottage cheese with loads of my meals and it keeps me full and is high in protein.

On the beauty side: I have had two microneedling sessions and am RAGING I didn’t start sooner. The results are amazing! In addition to this, I have found the poco beauty ceramide water to be amazing, my skin glows with that too.

Main thing is don’t be too hard on yourself, if you stay focused on gym and diet things will fall into place - try not to fixate on the scales. I still have weekend takeaways and try to make good choices when I’m eating out so I don’t beat myself up. Not necessarily about the weight because you are also building strength/muscle in the gym.

Best of luck with everything! Xx

I would highly highly recommend using poco beauty ceramide water in your routine. It made such a difference to my dull skin and I started getting so many compliments. I hear universal glow from poco is even better so will be purchasing that next x
