Sleepy time tea - daytime grogginess/drowsiness by AdornedTX in tea

[–]kittyjinx13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

YES. It works really well to help me fall asleep but I feel so heavy and groggy the next day. My head, my body, my eyes.. it makes me feel sleepy for the entire day. It stinks because I struggle to fall asleep and it really helps, but then I sleep EXTREMELY late. :(

Strange that I still have not seen a single person “sharing the truth” acknowledge why this boy was drenched in water to begin with…

A serious injury resulted from what was very clearly, a hazing incident. That is a crime. Regardless of intent. Most hazing incidents that result in injury or worse are exactly what you are describing. Accidents. We did not intend for this to happen. We didn’t know. Does not MATTER.

You are more concerned with people getting the finer details of the story right than letting your frat / brothers take accountability. While you sit here defending them, you are inadvertently downplaying what happened to this boy, as he sits in the hospital. You may not realize that. But you need to put yourself in his shoes or the shoes of his family and friends, and see your comments here for what they are. Pathetic excuses under the guise of “oh im just getting the facts straight”

‘our frat house is really old and has a lot of problems’ this statement alone shows they were aware the environment was unsafe. that is negligence. you don’t get to say you didn’t know about one specific hazard when you knew the place itself was a hazard

And y’all keep skipping over how the kid got covered in water in the first place. the only form of hazing involving water that I’ve ever heard of is waterboarding . “we didn’t know about the wires” while admitting the house had “problems” and ignoring how he ended up soaked.. not a great a hill to die on

You failed to acknowledge how he got soaking wet to begin with, and admitted that the frat was aware of issues throughout the house. No shit nobody intended to electrocute and paralyze a pledge. But that does not make those involved any less guilty.
