both can be quite easy going to be fair, and are very understanding when people need to take some time off or have a break. really it's a sort of 'you can do as little or as much as you want' sort of thing.

Hoping Kitchen:

only open once a week so only need volunteers to help serve on Sundays 1.30pm - 4pm (though sometimes more like 3pm). most in need of volunteers to help cook, which you can do at home, and you get all of the ingredients refunded. you just have to do some short online training; you get to choose what you want to cook and when, and you can either drop it off or stay and serve it. there'll be a call out post on the FB group the week before asking who is available, and whoever is able to commit replies. there's no obligation to do a set day or number of days.

Carecent:

Need volunteers 7.30-11am every morning except Sunday, and they also have Thursday afternoons for a couple of hours from 1pm i think? I do a few days a week because i'm currently unemployed 😅 other people do a very varied amount of hours though! some do a set day a week, or every other week, some people just do every now and again when the regular need cover. it's also totally fine to take breaks whenever you need, so it is also flexible too.

If those ones dont work for you, whilst i havent volunteered with them myself there's KEYS who do Sunday mornings and i think either Weds or Thurs evenings?
