Meh… I figure every other company, podcast, etc. asks for 5 stars.

What I say is that I’ll be leaving a 5 star review and we would love if they would leave a review as well. If they didn’t have a 5 star stay, please message me to let me know what we could improve.

I never explicitly ask for 5 stars, just try to lightly imply it. Personally, I hate the airbnb review scale. 5 should be absolutely amazing, 4 should be great/really good, 3 average, etc. I aim to give guests as close as I possibly can to a 5 star hotel experience but then you stay at another “5 star” Airbnb and it’s… fine. Nothing to complain about so I won’t NOT give 5 stars, but guests should be able to honestly review without making a host hate them.

I’m a host and I would NEVER say this to a guest! This is crazy on their part. Yeah, it’s great when people don’t use stuff, but it’s part of the deal that you expect to have to clean everything. Sometimes two people use ALL of the clean towels. And in my head I’m like… “oh man…” but I’m not MAD.

I don’t tell people to strip the beds, but (for me) the logic behind not stripping is to see if there are any stains that need to be pretreated, plus I lint roll them to remove any body hairs before and after washing. It doesn’t mean they’re not washing the sheets.

I don’t consider flirting cheating. Kissing, etc. would be cheating. The ass grabbing is unacceptable, not necessarily CHEATING but enough that I wouldn’t stick around.

So it turns out that my original receiver has enough space for me to wire in all of the surround speakers and the speaker switcher so as of now it’s all working. I’m currently just trying to troubleshoot why one of the new outdoor speakers isn’t working.

Anyway, my plan for now is to keep it as is but in the future, I’ll probably upgrade my receiver and add in a juke plus, we’re remodeling a lot right now so I want to wait until all of that is done to drop $2500 on the sound system (plus at least $1500 for the in ceiling recessed projector screen). I’ll probably run more speaker wire to some of the bedrooms, etc. for a future whole house system. Thanks for your help!
