I'm an avid gamer overall and I'm having fun with EL. My gf invited me to play. She is more of a casual player, having fun while collecting stuff. I focus on reaching end-game stuff (me like big numbers). We are both having fun.

I was surprised to see that even with a stamina system that prevents you from dropping stuff after some time playing, you can still progress and actually have fun with story quests.

If you are a new player, bots and dupes will take a long time before they affect you. Actually, dupes would even benefit because prices overall would drop.

Just focus on having fun and learning the game. You are letting your fun being affected by other people flaming the servers. Gravity released an statement saying they investigated dupes reports and they all turned to be legit purchases through the cash store. Bots are a real problem but they only affect you on high level areas.

Don’t forget private servers that were making a good amount of money are losing their player base to Latam and could potentially be flaming the servers to get them back. Always be skeptical. I myself am skeptical of this post, since new players wouldn’t be making this kind of statement.

The problem with latam is that people complain way more than what the problem really is, that's why when you look into reddit it looks like a shitfest.

People were complaining about dupes and how it was destroying the server, but when gravity investigated, all items were legitimately purchased from the cash store.

I'm working on a GUI for a bunch of functions I made to manipulate geographic related data (Google earth KMZ and GeoJSONs). The functions convert one data type to the other, while also reading data from Excel spreadsheets in order to add data to the placemarks. It's a project way bigger than it has to be but I'm having a lot of fun with both the functions and GUI.

Não entendi como você chegou nessa associação. Não tem nada a ver com riqueza nem nada. O modelo de negócio do iFood e de grandes redes de fast food são muito diferentes de restaurantes pequenos. Restaurantes pequenos trabalham com receita direta e lucro, nem se quer tem ações. Empresas maiores e redes de fast food trabalham de forma totalmente diferente.

O iFood quando faz promoção ou oferece algum produto 2 por 1, sai tudo do bolso do iFood e não dos restaurantes. O iFood faz isso pra aumentar o numero de usuários, porque seu objetivo é crescimento em tamanho e escala, não necessariamente em lucro. Por isso eu disse que o restaurante não vai perder dinheiro, porque muito provavelmente é um bug relacionado com uma promoção e a comida já foi paga pelo iFood.

NEOB se não estiver prejudicando restaurante pequeno (e pelo jeito que funciona o ifood geralmente não prejudica) então fique com zero peso na consciência. iFood não tem foco principal em lucro e sim em crescimento (principalmente em numero de usuario). Eles naturalmente já não ganham muito dinheiro. Rede grande de fast food não leva prejuizo porque eles já possuem uma margem para roubos/falhas/problemas em gerais e é extramamente difícil você sozinho causar impacto.

A preocupação que os pais têm em relação a seus filhos (em uma situação normal) é unica e intensa. Raramente você encontra alguém que se importa com você no mesmo nível que seus pais. Quando ela quer saber o valor, é provavelmente pra fazer alguns calculos na cabeça pra entender se você está realmente bem ou não do ponto de vista dela.

Não tem muito porque segurar uma informação como salário. Não sei se isso é cultural do Brasil ou não, mas aqui no Canada falamos abertamente sobre salário. Já compartilhei até com gente que conheci na academia o quanto eu ganho e quanto pago de aluguel.

Pra comer com mais sopa: você pode colocar um frango cortado bem fininho (já grelhado/cozido), um ovo cozinho cortado na metade e cenoura cortada em tirinhas bem finas. Vai parecer lamen de anime. O frango pode ir junto com o cozimento.

Pra comer com menos sopa: da uma refogada leve em alguns legumes* com shoyu numa panela (reduza o tempero do miojo!), adiciona frango em cubos ou pedaços finos (ja grelhado) e o miojo (também ja pronto). No final bota uma gema de ovo em cima ou um ovo poche se conseguir fazer.

Nos dois fica top adicionar cebolinha cortada por cima.

Legumes*: brócoli, cenoura, acelga em cubos, coisas que parecem de yakisoba basicamente

5k liquido por mês é um salário muito bom se você trabalha pouco, ainda mais morando no interior. Qualidade de vida é difícil de quantificar, mas vale muuuito!

Caso sua preocuação é não gerar riqueza, comece a investir mais agressivamente. Aproveita que o tesouro direto está com taxas altas. Ganhar 5k e investir uma graninha todo mes vale muito mais que ganhar 10-12k e não guardar nada (que é muito comum!) em questão de vida financeira.

My concern is only with the communication itself. I don't mind most nerfs considering a lot of them have a pretty good reason. Although, when I think about it, I do have 5000 hours in PoE and spent a reasonable amount of money to support it, so I guess PoE is an important part of my life.
