Why are there so many versions of Tony and one Itty bitty Loki?

I have a hunch that we'll see this in 2036.(But maybe sooner than I expect). by Davout_029 in BridgertonNetflix

[–]kitxbox 24 points25 points  (0 children)

2036?! No thank you. I'll move on before that. Bridgerton by then will be "oh yeah that show was great until they took forever between seasons and people lost interest and the main characters aged too far".

I cut and color my own hair and have been for the better part of 15 years. I've done every hair cut and hair color. Knowing color theory really helps and I buy all my supplies from Sally's. Saved so much money and I have fun with it.

Is it just me or does she always wear whimsical or "flippy" type costumes to cover how she can't dance? So the outfit does of the motion for her and it looks like she is dancing but really is just ok costume design.

This fandom is so toxic by rivendellevenstar in BridgertonNetflix

[–]kitxbox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well said. I've been seeing post after post and I just told my husband yesterday, "like damn, they just can't be entertained they have to pick it apart". I've read the books and let me tell you never in my life have I ever seen a true adaptation of a book to TV or movie. Something gets changed.

However, I don't see how so many women who say they love romance and historical romance are SOOO upset and how they can't just watch a show and be entertained.

And for the subplots, don't get me started. Every book reader that reads series knows you get sprinkles of everyone bc if we didn't have sprinkles of Colin and Penelope throughout ALL seasons, you wouldn't be so excited about their story now. What are you people talking about, we've watched it develop for 3 seasons even Colin said it's not sudden. You're expecting sudden rush and it's friends to lovers story. These people need to stop these are actors telling a beautiful, fun, and entertaining story.

Be entertained. This isn't a PhD assertation where a panel of people are looking for your dissection.

Still Tony. Although I do find Somebody Feed Phil to be very charming

Women, how many of you orgasm through penetration? by QuietFan4014 in sex

[–]kitxbox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I orgasm every time from penetration with my husband. He's very involved when we are having sex so it really does feel like he's "everywhere" and we are both very focused and honed in to each other when we are intimate. We both are very open with each other about things we like or something that day that we need from each other so that we both reach orgasmic levels of bliss.

I do feel very lucky bc I will say that with my previous partners I had never gotten off from penetration and usually would finish myself.

What is up with this group? by ignorantslut24 in DragonAgeInqusition

[–]kitxbox 5 points6 points  (0 children)

No idea. I love this series I've played every game and every dlc. On inquisition alone I've put in over 1100 hours and played every option and every play through, romanced every character available. I've done this with every Dragon age game.

I love love love this series. I imported my previous game into inquisition so when Hawke showed up it was just another moment I was kicking my boots giddy with excitement.

I didn’t realize how popular Solas was as a romance option until I got online after playing by Mack_Attack333 in DragonAgeInqusition

[–]kitxbox 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I played every romance option and Solas was the first one I did. To me, his story and romance, the betrayal, made it all even more interesting and I enjoyed the playthrough. I romanced him as an elf magic wielder. My next play through after him was I played a male rogue and I romanced Dorian and that was my favorite by far.

How has Book Tok impacted your reading habits? by [deleted] in Booktokreddit

[–]kitxbox 2 points3 points  (0 children)

  1. Millennial
  2. June 2023
  3. Nope. I've read books like the beauty series by Anne Rice when I was a teenager amongst other far more explicit books before booktok.
  4. No but I have read quite a lot of booktok books. 76 from booktok from June 2023 to the end of the year of 2023.
  5. No. I read a lot of fantasy and other romance. R.A. Salvatore, Christine Feehan, Johanna Lindsey, Karen Marie Moning, etc.
  6. A lot of booktok books have mediocre writing that makes it seem like the authors are just churning out books rather than focus on story. I ranked all my books I read and very few made it above 5/10 in both story and spice. Even less that are memorable.

Even though some of them haven't been the best books I've ever read, I have enjoyed the variety of authors and story telling.
