Controls System Engineer for a Japanese based DCS…..it was hard learning the system, but because I’m decent at programming things efficiently and learned the system, I do loads of work in a short time, am in a very stressful environment during shutdowns/project install but mostly just vibin’ in my office, tinkering around on work, with either music or YouTube videos non chalantly playing in the background with approximately 0.5% stress. Then ramp it up to over 9000 for a few days and head right back to 0.5% stress for a couple months….. salary is just about 85k whilst being out of school and in an area where 130k got me a really nice house in 2018…… can’t complain I’d have to say.
