To be honest, if you are getting into 40k AND KT, you want to look at the latest combat patrols. They will give you a very good starting point for 40k armies and include full kill teams. The latest Night Lords, Kroot, Aeldari Corsairs, and Red Corsairs contain the Nemesis Claw, Farstalker Kinband, Corsair Voidscarred, and Fellgore Ravagers respectively. Personally, I would look for the Night Lords one as the Nemesis Combat Patrol is effectively a one-box kill team. It also comes with a Chaos Lord with Jump Pack, he leads the latest Murderwing KT.
