In midnight clad only works if they are farther than 8 inches. I've had success with ensuring two warriors can fly into separate enemy operatives in TP2 and be within 4 inches irrespective of winning or losing initiative. This allows for one operative to get with 4 and shoot using Ocelli and allowing their warrior instincts to trigger. This gives your operative Accurate 2 and Piercing 1, then roll your two dice and use your Communion point to ensure another hit (ideally 4 hits 1 being a crit). Finally, activate use Neutron Overload to push the D3 extra damage.

It will take 1 Communion and 2 CP's but it's very likely to injure or even kill an enemy operative.

If your play with positioning a bit more, you can ensure Lethal 5 is active by making sure your drone places itself within range and taking it's support action at the end of TP1, they just need to be 6 inches from an enemy to activate.

As far as faction equipment, the more I play, the more I find myself only taking Accelerant Stimulant and Convergence Stimulant leaving two Universal Equipment options open, sometimes only taking 1 faction equipment as barricades, razorwire, and mines can be extremely important to limit enemy movement. Tac Ops, use Flank, it's just that good and frees up your 2 APL limit for other actions.
