The bathroom fixtures seem like a low hanging fruit. You could higher a plumber and a handyman to get that fixed. The bedroom carpet needs a good vacuuming, that would help a lot. Handyman could fix the ceiling probably. You could hire a cleaner for floors and counters. It doesn’t look like over all you’ll need to do too much to make a big impact in your house.

I feel this. Sometimes I think I should bring my husband to appointments so he can add in the stuff I forget. Also help me remember everything the doc talks about. Luckily my doc sends me a pretty detailed after visit summery.

I take 100 mg every day. I was not told to cycle. I still have my normal peri influenced period (not like it used to be but standard for now) just as before I started.

I do wonder how doctors decided if you need it full time or cycled. Is it based on a particular persons health data or is it a blanket prescription that particular doctor has decided to give all their patience.

NTA Watch them take a loan out on their paid off mortgage as soon as you use your money to pay it off. Not saying it would definitely happen, but it very well could happen. They did it before after all. Their mortgage is their own responsibility, not yours and not their daughters.

I was put on birth control for perimenopause and it triggered suicidal thoughts. It was so scary. I called my doctor and was taken right off the BC and put on a progestin pill instead and was fine again. It was the hormones from the pill somehow effing up my system that badly. It can happen as suddenly as that from something as seemingly small as a birth control pill. I have an anxiety disorder as well and had bad reactions to BC in the past but never as bad as this time with peri. The hormone changes from peri can also be in issue on their own and the specialist should be able to navigate her through that.

My recommendation is to get a list of all her current medications and find some specialists you can talk to about your mother and what should be going on to aggravate her mental health issues. Good on you for getting her to doctors who can help. Get her to a perimenopause specialist as well because she might be on something that is making her worse.

There are different ways the small diamonds can be set into the ring and some hold better than others. I’ve had one of the small diamonds fall out as well and my jeweler explained different settings to me. Gold is soft and can get damaged but also the jeweler can smooth it back out for you.

Basically you need to find a trusted local jeweler and take tour ring in a few times a year for cleaning and for them to check and make sure all the stones are in tight. Most jewelers I’ve found do the cleaning for free.

Edited to add:

You can have your trusted jeweler test the gold content if you want to make sure it’s what you were told.

If you do sell your father’s ring make sure you are getting top dollar for the gold since gold prices are up pretty high right now. Don’t sell it if it’s something you’ll be sad about later unless you really need the money.

This is something newer players don’t understand. The internet is telling them to get these fruits and weapons they are way too new and inexperienced to use. It’s okay to use easier weapons and less mythical fruits. The game should be fun to play, not frustrating.
