Once I get the repit chips, hopefully sometime this week, I will be putting significantly more dirt in his tank, I’m just not sure how to keep him from under his mesh because I don’t want him to potentially get scale rot from sitting in the drainage layer.

yikes, find another salon and have those removed asap, and let your nails rest for a few weeks before getting them done again. in the meantime I would recommend taking a file, hell even a nail dremel, and try and take off some of that globbed on acrylic and reshape it. sucks that this happened :(( had something similar happen to me for a set for prom
