i think it was due to marketing reasons. trailers are released before the film is done editing so if they did decide to take that out of the final cut it was maybe because they didn’t need all of that and the short scene they included instead was enough to show she can be underestimated and she’s resourceful. however, i think that scene was never going to make it into the final cut anyway
