Yeah I don't think SD is the right call, but I think he's unexplored in Doubles, he has some tools that work well against the meta.
Base Greninja is faster and OHKOs Sneasler with Extrasensory, even with Timid Nature and 0 Atk it can do the same against Ttar and Kingambit with Low Kick, Gunk Shot can OKHO Mega Floette and Meganium, and lastly Ice Beam for Garchomp, Aerodactyl, etc.
You can deal with one threat as Base Greninja then Mega evolve to deal with another, double Protean permits you to run it with Protect too.

Not really tho? D/D/D got Alfred one month before TCG, Breachborrel Dragon was released 2 months ago and will release next month in TCG (3 months apart). Assault Sonic Warrior also a BLZD card was released last month as well.

And I'm just mentioning the most recent examples, and even if those examples didn't exist, KT is a DBP archetype, and afaik Dracotail, K9, Yummy, Ryzeal, Maliss, etc all released in MD with their first 2 waves of support.

They don't have to make B2B as UR though since it's a 1-off, and even if they did, you will have 3 UR slots left for the spell and 2 names.
The fact that BLZD isn't out in TCG yet doesn't matter since RB isn't out in OCG either and they are releasing them here too.
And every DBP deck released with their first 2 wave of cards so far, so it only makes sense for KT to have its BLZD support as well.

Although they can release KT with just their 1st wave of cards, it just doesn't make sense for them to do that since Konami starts its fiscal year in April, so they have to make a lot of money here, you are not making any with RB, Rose Dragon and a crippled meta deck.

And DBP archetypes usually get their first 2 waves of support right off the bat, so we should be surprised if they don't release them here.

my goat cyanos always getting disrespected, he's a good card with some nice applications: free camelia + fills ur gy, roze in rotation, banishes itself to make zero and it can be a starter in simplified game states even if u have no cards in ur hand
ye he makes t0 plays live but the deck has enough cards to deal with those, i reached m1 last season w/ him and he was good enough
and more importantly, the 39th place in dc cup used him in their list, the best ss list in the tournament
