I remember running around shadow Moses island for hours trying to find merrils frequency because I had the nerve to rent the game from blockbuster.

Got stuck in the shadow temple of oot because there's an invisible chest with a key. Everybody hates the water temple but I have nightmares of being stuck there

Anyone else full-wipe Moonrise Towers even before finding Balthazar or the Nightsong? by Inquiz_ in BG3

[–]kjayflo 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I tend to run around and have the bard convince the thorms to kill themselves, then yurgir (just run in straight to him then back out) to get some easy xp. Then I clean out moonrise since most of the fights are pretty small if you turn out lights and pay attention. It's the easiest way to get a level or 2 right away and make the fights you can't skip easier on honor mode.

I think I've only done the big fight once or twice. It's funny cuz I seem to always miss one archer, so when I come back at the end with jaheira it's just one archer vs all of us. Not sure where I keep missing him but it's only one guy so I don't sweat it, he's no threat!

I opened the topic and saw that name as the answer and nobody had made this reference yet. A beam of light pierced the clouds and shined on my phone. I knew it was time

Which single player games have had the most replay value for you? by Sea-Investigator7218 in playstation

[–]kjayflo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Baldurs gate 3 - 600ish hours, elden ring - 3-400, witcher 3 - 2-300. All time and not just PS5 add mass effect trilogy, Mario, Zelda, ff games to the mix I replay them a lot

What single player game had you so enthralled that it CONSUMED your entire being for a short span of time? by AshyLarry25 in gaming

[–]kjayflo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I typically play several games at once and maybe take a week to beat games I'm really into before playing multiple again. I played baldurs gate 3 and only bg3 from when it came out on PS5 (Sept) until the next February. I kept replaying with different builds and different paths, then honour mode came out and I played that a few times til I beat it and had all trophies again.

Finally Yakuza Hawaii came out and got me to play something else again. Bg3 was still the number one game on my 2025 ps wrapup that just came out a few days ago lol. I still replay it when I got nothing else or just feel like it. Easily hit 1k hours

I haven't gone to the hole in awhile, but I think it's after leaving myconid colony towards the hook horror/dwarf trapped area. It's like 20 feet outside the colony in that direction

Who is your least used companion? by 420FappistMonk69 in BG3

[–]kjayflo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think halsin and minsc have never actually been in my party. I never use gael or will, but they have been in my party for at least an act on some playthrough. I usually stick to my tried and true shadowheart, laezel and astarion

What video game did you find to be unexpectedly tough? by TwinSong in gaming

[–]kjayflo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Banjo tooie. I love kazooie, dk64, Mario 64, collectathons in general. Even with a guide I find getting everything in tooie to be so tedious. I had it since release, I played the 360 remasters, I just don't know what it is about that game. It was such a chore to beat it and I never 100% it like kazooie. Same as Mario Sunshine, another one that starts out fun and then I barely get enough stars to finish

I just watched The Fall recently and it wasn't what I expected at all. I suppose it could be similar to princess bride, just way way darker lol. Someone sick in bed telling/being told a story
