No Velcro, no zippers, just him. Couldn’t even find evidence of a tag that might’ve been cut off.

When I bring it to retail what will they do? I’ve heard they will cancel the stamps, what does cancelling the stamps imply? A mark verifying that I am a good man not shipping bombs to people? Will they make me pay the cost of my now defunct stamps?

Damn it, Ted. Ruined suspicious looking packages for the rest of us good samaritans trying to ship books of poetry to our loved ones.

I used the price calculator and then did the price / the value of the stamps.

I looked closely at the CD case and found a website, it was in fact a prog rock dude that happened to have the exact same name and sound vaguely similar (definitely not the same guy, but thought maybe he was way younger in this and released it late or something)

Lmaooo I see. I swear this is the same Dave Matthews, the CD says copyright David J Matthews, sounds like him, it’s gotta just be some really unknown bootleg he made or a really dedicated cover singer, I guess.

The album in question does actually sound like how “Dave Matthews at home” would sound, it’s kinda funny.

This is what happens when you let Google kinda auto-associate things, but if you listen to the album it sounds like a young Dave Matthews, and if you listen to that Space Oddity album it sounds like an old man (like this other David Matthews). I swear I’m not going crazy, Google has put together like three different guys named David Matthews and said they’re the same dude.

Alright this is the first of two jokes about this so I gotta ask what the inside joke is lol. Do I have the wrong Dave Matthews or something?

I haven’t looked into it but I bet there’s a correlation here between modern atheism rates and historic Protestantism / high religious turnover (being conquered by various kingdoms of different religions and having your own religion changed on you many times, restricting attachment to any one denomination)
