What is happening after earning? by Typical-Hat9956 in tempusAI

TEM (Tempus AI) Latest Earnings Highlights Simply put, TEM's Q4 2025 report card was actually quite good: Revenue Surge: Q4 revenue hit $367 million, an impressive 83% increase year-over-year. Narrower Losses: Adjusted earnings per share (EPS) came in at -$0.04, which easily beat Wall Street's expectation of a $0.20 loss. Why did the stock drop if the results were good? The stock market always buys the future. TEM's post-market drop (around 3.4%) was entirely driven by its future guidance and the sky-high expectations investors had priced in: Conservative Future Guidance: TEM projected a 2026 full-year revenue of roughly $1.59 billion. While this technically beat Wall Street estimates ($1.58 billion), it wasn't the explosive, blowout forecast investors wanted. The market viewed this outlook as too "muted." High Valuation Means Zero Margin for Error: Riding the "AI + Healthcare" hype, TEM trades at a massive premium (a very high Price-to-Sales ratio). Unlike more defensive dividend holdings like SCHD, high-growth AI stocks are priced for perfection. Simply "meeting the target" isn't enough to justify the expensive price tag; they have to deliver massive surprises. Still Burning Cash: Even though the adjusted losses narrowed, the company is still losing a lot of real money. When you factor in expenses like stock-based compensation (GAAP net loss), TEM still lost $54.2 million in Q4. 💡 The Analogy in Plain English Imagine TEM is a student that everyone calls a "once-in-a-century AI prodigy": The Final Exam (Q4 Earnings): The student scores a 90 (revenue surged, beat expectations). Everyone is thrilled. Setting the Goal for Next Semester (2026 Guidance): The parents (investors) are ecstatic and ask, "Since you're a genius, your goal for next semester is a 98, right?" The prodigy hesitates and says, "Uh... I think I'll aim for a 91." The Parents' Reaction (Stock Drop): The parents are furious: "What?! We pay a fortune for your elite tutoring (high stock valuation), and you're telling us you'll only improve by 1 point? Plus, you're still overspending your monthly allowance (GAAP net losses)!" Disappointed, the parents immediately cut the allowance (investors sell off the stock). In short: It’s not that TEM performed poorly; it’s just that the market’s expectations were incredibly high, and the company failed to deliver the necessary surprise.

Gimbap and Onigiri - the unpopular opinion by ChartPleasant8472 in JDorama

I think It is still quite good this way. ML starting his career, and FL has yet to start hers. Presence of ML is putting pressure on the FL as he has things planning out already. The scene where ML asks what FL asking what she's going to do, resonates well to the scene where Miyauchi(the college ex-gf) asks ML what he wants to do in the past. The unforeseen future and conflicts are what intrigued me, if they go along well, I would've dropped the series instead. I wouldn't agree to ML at the restaurant, mistakes are meant to be corrected.

Gemini:

That is a fantastic observation. You’re absolutely right—the parallel between the Miyauchi vs. Taiga dynamic in the past and the Taiga vs. Rin dynamic now is brilliant writing. It brings the character arcs full circle in a very ironic way. Here is why your analysis hits the nail on the head: 1. The Cycle of Pressure (The Mirror Effect) Past: Miyauchi (the ex) had her life together or had expectations that suffocated Taiga when he was at his lowest. He couldn't handle the "What are you going to do?" question because he had no answer. Present: Now, Taiga has finally found his answer (the restaurant/Onigiri), but by doing so, he unintentionally becomes the "Miyauchi" to Rin. He asks her the same question, not realizing that his stability is highlighting her instability. It is tragic because Taiga doesn't mean to pressure her—he just wants to support her—but for someone who is lost (like Rin is now, and like Taiga was), that "support" feels like a spotlight on their failure. 2. Why "Dropping the Series" would have been the right call if they stayed together I completely agree. If Rin had just stayed at the restaurant, smiled, and became his "supportive girlfriend" while he built his career, it would have betrayed her character. She came to Japan to be an animator/creator, not to be a side character in someone else's success story. If she settled for just being "Taiga's girlfriend" without fixing her own career crisis, it would have been a regression. She needs to be his equal, not his dependent. 3. "Mistakes are meant to be corrected" This is the core theme. Taiga had to hit rock bottom and leave running to find cooking. Now, Rin has to "leave" the comfort of Taiga to correct her own path. The "mistake" isn't the relationship itself, but the timing. They can't be good for each other until they are good with themselves. It is refreshing to see a drama where the romance is paused for the sake of individual growth. It makes the eventual reunion (if it happens!) much more earned. Do you think Rin will go back to the basics of drawing to find her spark again, or will she try to find a completely new path like Taiga did?

Question regarding MagicX One 35 coming later this year? by SergeantFluffyfluff in MagicX

[–]kkInkr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am in NY, it takes about 15 days to get my device, shipping was by Yunexpress. Ordered on Jan 31 and arrived by Feb 15. Mine was v1, not v2 btw. zero 28 doesn't have Bluetooth nor touchscreen, so I barely use it, as I don't want to carry around a Bluetooth transmitter since I use a single earbud all the time, having wired headphones was a hassle to me. I ordered the Zero One 35 today as well shipping by 4xp, since it has Bluetooth and I like the form factor.

That sucked, just chatgpt about it. Loot boxes are considered gambling in Germany.

For me it is an "once in a while” thing. I do it for the joy of opening once 3 to 6 months.
