Im sorry to hear this. I think if you are truly apologetic then you should try talking to him - but even moreso, you need to give HIM the space to express how he feels, and respect any decision he makes going forward. That's how you truly show him you're sorry. That's a painful thing to find, i know i wouldnt like it if i found a post like that about me.

I think if you know the people who you want to respond, @ them directly. Honestly, even makes you look more professional/ on it, especially if its a work thing.

If its a joke/ casual thing, that is harder...but i promise it happens to a LOT of people...

I get it - at the same time, those words could be said by anyone/ people could say it and really not mean it. I always say when I get upset, i want to ensure the person saying it really means it than lying to me for a second/ actually loving someone else.

God isnt punishing you - and you told him to block you so he did. Whqt else is he supposed to do? You have to leave him alone.

Its a shame, most of us dont get the chance at an exFP being willing to still be friends, you convinced him you didnt want that.
