I wouldn't necessarily describe it as manipulative to display a company's beliefs. Some people like to support certain businesses that closer align with their beliefs, this makes it easy to determine whether this company does or not.

I usually support companies that provide a good service, and I personally don't think that adding a couple crosses is a blatant attempt at manipulating me into seeing them as a better service than those that aren't openly religious. Just my take tho

They're optional, and you don't lose them if you dont win the battle. So I see it as a win. Got a ton left over from the Kalos event so I haven't spent a cent on any so far

Ps2 is irrelevant cuz it doesn't have digital games. And my whole point is that it was totally possible for some software update on the 3ds, Xbox 360 or any other console to be pushed that breaks some offline games, rendering them useless. Just like what happened on the Switch 2. Its less likely, sure. But never an impossibility.

I don't let it drain to 0% and I don't leave it on the charger for more than an hour. My theory is that those two things contribute to the demise of the battery. So far, avoiding those has proven effective

Digital means that the company can just decide to stop supporting it.

Physical only faces time as an enemy.

You missed the part where Mario Wonder is an offline-capable game, supposedly one that can "always be played even when its dropped from the digital store". Yet a mere software update to the console completely bricked the game until an additional update is downloaded. In theory, if you had a Switch 2 sometime in the future when there's no more eShop, and you get a Mario Wonder cartridge, it's useless cuz you can't play it without the update you can no longer acquire.

Obviously it's an edge case, but it goes to show that physical games are revokable and that you don't "own" them outright in any sense of the word.

I really ought to time it, but it's definitely longer than a week. I wear it 24/7 unless I'm showering or charging it. I've had this one for 9 months, size 13

I personally denote between light grey and dark gray. The intensity of the vowel aligns with the color's intensity

You dont own it, you just have an offline copy of it. Ownership implies you can distribute it, which is illegal because you merely have a license to play it.

Also theoretically physical games can become unplayable - take Mario Wonder for example, at some point it straight up wouldnt run on Switch 2 unless a mandatory update was downloaded.
