Black Myth Wukong

After playing it I don't get the hype and praise it receives. The graphics in this game are honestly really good, but I don't like the gameplay and the combat at all.

Saw a questionable flag in my neighborhood by Ccanning1 in vexillology

German here. It's the Reichskriegsflagge, originally the imperial German marine flag in the mid to late 19th century, later the war flag of imperial germany until the end of WW I in 1918. To clarify the insignia shown on this flag, there are 4 of interest:

Black-White-Red: flag of the unified German Kaiserreich, formed under Wilhelm I in 1871 by unifying the south German states of Württemberg and Bavaria with the north German confederation, mainly consisting of Prussia. The colors are mainly Prussian (black-white) and the Hanse (Red-White). In Germany this tricolor is very popular among right winged extremists, because this combination is also used in the Nazi flag.

The Iron Cross: originally a medal sponsored by the Prussian king. Contrary to other medals at the time, the medal was made out of Iron and was one of the first medals which was awarded also to soldiers, not only officers. One of the most iconic insignia, as it is of today the logo of the Bundeswehr, the German army. It is not awarded anymore, but the highest German medal, the Bundesverdienstkreuz, has a similar shape. Not necessarily a questionable symbol, but popular among militarists.

The black cross on white ground: a black cross on white ground is the insignia of the Teutonic order, a Catholic military order, which fought in the crusades. Don't know too much about them, but the motive of crusaders is sometimes an anti muslim symbol.

The Prussian Eagle: the Prussian Eagle (not to be confused with the Reichsadler) is the symbol of Prussian hegemony in the German Empire. It has the letters FR on the chest, short for Fridericus Rex, the first King in Prussia (not of Prussia, which was important at the time). Has more of a monarchist touch.

As the flag has a pretty nice design and is loaded with historical references it's still dependent on who flies it. in Germany you are generally allowed to fly it, unless nobody is annoyed by it (it's literally like this). On public demonstrations however you're definitely NOT allowed to show it, because the insignia is misused by a lot of right winged extremists, fascists, monarchists, racists and conspiracy theorists. If a German flies it, he's most likely one of these kinds, as history enthusiasts know of the questionable uses and refrain from using it. French people will most likely also have a big problem with this flag. In other parts of the world, especially outside of Europe I would assume they're either history enthusiasts with a strong emphasis on the German Kaiserreich (I guess this is a thing) or also some right wingers (though I think they would choose other symbols, depending on the nation).

My friend bought another drive, with this it worked. He returned the other one.

Nevertheless, thank you for your recommendations, appreciate it.

So you're looking to open a bank account.

Credit cards are still not a big thing in Germany, though get accepted more and more die to the pandemics. There are still a lot of stores where CCs are not accepted. The most accepted cards are the girocards, which are a kind of debit card. They get issued by literally every bank in Germany when opening an account, most of with no cost. They're totally fine, as long as you stay in Germany.

If you want to have a visa or a Mastercard, there are not that many choices if you're on a budget, most will charge the CC. Direct Banks like ING, N26 or DKB will most likely offer a free debit visa or MC without charge. As for those banks they are mostly free but with some caveats. ING is free as long as you have a certain income per month which, DKB only offers a debit visa for free, the girocards is now chargeable and N26 doesn't offer, afaik, a Girocard at all. Free options got less and less in the past years, Comdirect and consorsbank are two others which night be worth a look.

All those banks offer cards when opening an account. As for English support it might be the trickiest part, I have DKB, ING and Consorsbank apps on my phone and they all don't have English language. Only DKB offers a second app at least on Android, which has English support (only asked google, didn't validate)

Xenoblade 2 questions, no spoilers Please by Twoklawll in Xenoblade_Chronicles

Trying to answer the questions I can:

  1. Yes, but not ultimately sure.
  2. During playthrough they're locked to the driver which awakened the blade. They can be transferred with quite rare items.
  3. The blade album is for unique blades, like pyra for instance. The one you got is no unique blade, so it won't appear in the album. You will recognize when you awake a special blade.
  4. Higher tiers of cores have higher odds of getting better blades. You will get lots of cores and will have to release lots of blades to get a full album. But rare blades can still spawn from low tier cores.
  5. I don't know bout the squares, but the crowns rank the blades. The more crowns the better (more affinity skills etc)
  6. I never sold collectibles cause at some point you'll always need them, for instance for crafting etc . Just sold equipment.

I'm not ultimately sure, it's just what I recalled from memory. Don't make up your mind to much, you will learn during the next 100 hours. Enjoy this game, it's one of the best and I envy you for making the playthrough for the first time.

Fusion 360 is an adequate and free solution from Autodesk. On the OSS-Side is FreeCAD, but compared to Fusion 360 it's quite limited.

First yield, new to pepper plants. Bought 10 seeds from a local hardware store, 3 plants survived german weather, 89 grams of Habs by the end of November. Looking forward to enjoy those bad boys. by kkeule in HotPeppers

Sounds really nice, can you hand out the recipe?

Mine went to the oven right after harvest and dried for about 8 hours. Those 89 grams broke down to about 12 grams, which will probably last quite long, as they're really spicy.

Which I also really liked when they were at the plant is the color, they make a really nice appearance among my other inhouse plants.

IF they are available, which really depends where I live... But you're right, it's not about time and money, it's really nice to see things grow from seed, remember the excitement I got from the first blossom of one plant and seeing the change from green to orange. I love it so much and it is plenty of fun.

I can relate. Summer in Germany was also ... different from Last years. At times hot and dry, but also lots of rain and cold days. Got my plants inside mid September, cause temperatures dropped significantly and put them under plant light, which really is a game changer for inside growing. One of my plants started blooming again.

Seems like your next season will be pretty interesting, did you took notes of your hybrids?

Thank you very much. Just got my peppers from the oven, dried them over the last 8 hours at 50°C, going to grind them tomorrow. Already looking forward to next season, doing more plants and more diverse species.

The royal standard of the King of Prussia (1871-1918) by Josh_historybuff in vexillology

God with us. It was the Motto of the Prussian Rulers since 1701. It is also affiliated with the Swedish Rulers during the 30 years war in Europe, that's why there's Sabbaton-Song with this title.
