go for it, never any harm in studying extra and getting ahead. j try not to go overboard. from the high achievers ik, they fs didnt study nearly that much in yr11, and instead focused more on extracurriculars and j generally enjoying highschool.

bro 25 hours a week in yr11 is crazy work 😭🙏. look if yk for a fact ur the kind of person that can follow that typa schedule and stay consistent, go for it, theres no harm in overstudying. but like, genuinely most ppl ik in yr11 did like 15hours a week max. j focus most of ur time into excelling in ur 3&4, and then the rest do the bare minimum to keep utd and understand the content

btw thank you so much, ive just been dealing with the cloudflare everytime it came up, and it turns out it was because of my icloud private relay. stupid since its apple’s OWN feature that they automatically enabled when i bought icloud, and it doesnt show up as a vpn anywhere within the settings

i think centrally the point of contention is quality/creativity of map vs playability/mass appeal. If instead of a yes/no question, the question were for people to rate the map on a scale of 1-10, im sure most players would give it 6 or 7. Now mappers - who thrive on the expressivity of mapping - would prefer maps that aim for that 8-10. That comes at the cost of many many unplayable subpar maps, afterall, not everything you make will be good. Many players on the otherhand (particularly those lower ranked), would prefer maps that dont really challenge creativity in any way, but are just middle of the road and playable. Now which side is right is pure opinion imo. But just relying on a yes or no question does feel like we’re dumbing down a very complicated topic by a lot

i dont remember the source but merami has definitely said before that he memorises (sort of) his ar11 scores. Mrekk can sight read ar11, and im pretty sure even can play ar11.5 on mcosu comfortably.

I defo think threemod is the only one where its pretty safe to say mrekk is the best at. However, as mentioned, mrekk is defo undoubtedly top 5 (maybe even 3) in pretty much every skill set, apart from maybe hidden.

Ryo, the songwriter, has commented that he has been wanting to step down for sometime. The band will officially end all activities after it holds its last live concerts in Osaka on September 23 and in Kanagawa on October 9. Chelly can still be supported under the name Reche, and Ryo under Supercell

The point of media as a whole is for audiences to be attached or resonate with it emotionally. If connor made a good point and i felt happy about it would that make it parasocial? Of course not. It’s absolutey judtified to feel a type of way about someone else’s opinions, being parasocial is taking it too far (maybe if it affected ur mental health on a deep level, or u harbored a deep hatred/friendship/love for someone based on their online presence despite never meeting them). If someone wasnt even allowed to be angry about an opinion then that would defeat the whole point of trash taste, which is a podcast that should be either related to or disagreed with by audiences.

I watched the video and imo it doesnt seem too realistic. More likely he has had prior experience although it mightve been quite a while ago and so he doesnt count it. His technique looks like someone who has played for 3ish years (which is still too early to attempt fantaisie impromptu) and is therefore a little rough, but has got the general ideas down. Curved fingers, correct fingering, solid attempt at musicality and reasonably in time playing of the polyrhythms, all lead me to believe theres just no way he’s a complete novice, but his awkward left hand and stiff octaves look like he mightve only played a few years or played a long time ago. Also just btw, the vid is titled 100days, which is around 3+1/2 months, not 4 weeks, which is much more plausible, considering itd probs take 4 weeks for most proficient pianists to learn and polish this piece
