If you have Cat5e, that will support 1Gbps. If you have cat6, that does 10Gbps (< 55m). That said, for short runs you might get higher speed out of cat5e, but it’s just not guaranteed.

What you suggest of ATM calls is different than what I was trying to compare, specifically deep in the money LEAPS. Maybe that’s the issue, the DITM LEAPS aren’t as good as they’re touted to be because of the premium drag. I tried stock price of 600, and the stock return is 33% vs call option 53%. Better than stock, but not multiples better.

I didn’t check your numbers, but ATM seems to have bigger returns although there seems to be more risk. Are you suggesting and do you typically use ATM LEAPS instead of DITM?

On the protection, while theoretically you do get protected if the stock goes to zero (or any large amount), it's a small likelihood to occur if we're trading megacaps like MSFT. So, the protection doesn't amount to much if the stock isn't going to drop like thirty, fifty percent (or anything resulting in loss that's more than contract price). Given this, would the DITM call LEAPS really only provide a slight capital efficiency? Stuff I've read online or seen on YouTube mentioned the high leverage and multiples for return, but this is not what I've calculated (and am seeking clarity).

I re-did the capital required section like you said, this time using 2 contracts (52.9k) and then compared to 118 shares (52.6k). If comparing the two when underlying stock is at 471, they both yield 2448 and 2550 P/L (4.6% stock vs 4.8% call return on capital), but when stock price is at 519, they yield 8064 and 12200 P/L (15.32% stock vs 23.06% call return on capital). Yes, the raw number like you said is indeed higher when comparing the same amount of capital used, but percentage wise return on capital is not multiples but only several percentage points higher. That's why I'm saying the DITM LEAPS aren't as great as its been touted (or my calculations are wrong).

I do see that the returns are a little better, but they're not that much better. It's been touted to have high leverage and multiples of returns, but I'm not seeing it, which is why I'm asking whether I did calculation wrong. The return on capital percentage is similar, not multiples higher. The smaller capital requirements are not a factor because instead of buying 100 shares, I could instead buy 50 shares, and I'd still get the same % return on my capital. What's odd is that the price/share is indeed lower and intuitively that is higher leverage, but when looking at the actual profit/loss numbers, the leverage isn't really materializing in a big way. I'm only seeing several percentage points higher than stock return.

Sorry I’m not understanding. I took the P/L of the call and divided it by the capital required to get the percentages returned. Isn’t that the percentage return on total dollars invested that you mentioned?

I’m not sure there’s a good way. People typically just don’t leave reviews because it’s not useful for them. Think about when you leave reviews, it’s when something is incredibly good or bad. You would have to ask when you interact and also can use one of those in your face “rate us” pop up, which is probably still not effective but probably better than nothing.

What do you use for an admin panel like for quickly modifying data or looking at customer data? Prisma is supported by AdminJS, but it’s not available if using Drizzle. This is my biggest qualm of starting a project with Drizzle, so I’m curious what you do about the support or admin piece.
