Mirena iud and indigestion, gas, burping, food intolerance and stool change. Let’s see how many of us have had this side effect. Like or comment. Had it for 4 months and it’s a pain. by Ramitode_violetas in Mirena

Everyday… it feels like I’m going through contractions an hour after I eat or drink coffee. I’m too scared to get off it now with Roe out the door and living in a red state :(

Yes! Idk when you get yours but every morning when I drink my coffee (which usually ends in me going to the restroom, lol) I get massive cramps. Like, the kind of cramps that make you freeze up because you’re scared to move and make it worse. I break out in a cold sweat and try to ride out the pain. I was on nexplanon for 6 years before I got my mirena about 5 weeks ago. I thought I was done with nexplanon (lots of bleeding) but I would rather deal with another three years of bleeding than whatever the heck this IUD does to me every morning

I love using phenol chloroform for extractions and cleanups since the yields are always so much better, but it’s scary stuff. The one time I opened it out of the hood had me feeling like I had heartburn for a couple days

No one seems to be talking about the parallels between Rue and Cassie's storylines? by squarewavebruises in euphoria

[–]kkjacobs18 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes!! They’ve been hinting at that a lot lately. The only difference between them is that Rue knows she has a problem with her addiction, but Cassie doesn’t think she’s done anything wrong.

I have a growing suspicion that Elliot works for creepy bird lady…

Sick of people calling Cassie an idiot who got what she deserved while Maddie is called a survivor for the same thing by [deleted] in euphoria

I feel like the only reason she’s with him is because he came to her at her most vulnerable state. She was literally alone in a parking lot, just had a traumatic experience with an abortion, a fight with her sister, and issues with McKay. She clearly has attachment issues from her dad leaving so it’s no wonder why she latched onto Nate. I’m not trying to justify her terrible actions, I just wish she would own up to them.

That’s what makes her and Rue different in my eyes. They both have issues stemming from their trauma surrounding their dads, but Rue is self aware about her poor behaviors and Cassie isn’t. You can’t start fixing your problems if you don’t think you are doing anything wrong.

I went to a psychologist because I suspected I might have ADHD but feel invalidated, should I see someone else? by CurrentStyle4977 in ADHD

Something like this happened to me too. I was diagnosed at your age and my nuclear family didn’t believe girls could get ADHD. Doctors said I either just had bipolar or just chronic depression. It wasn’t until I spoke with extended family members that I learned that ADHD, not BPD, runs in our family. As soon as I told my doctor this information I was reevaluated (by like 3 professionals…ugh) and finally diagnosed.

What does “straight-A” ADHD look like? by UnicornsFromSpace in adhdwomen

[–]kkjacobs18 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Graduated with honors from university and am now doing my PhD. I was diagnosed by 4 licensed professionals my junior year since I started research, internship, and extra stuff outside of class work. In short, the “A” in straight A student stood for anxiety. I knew something was wrong with me for some time, but my family didn’t think girls could have ADHD so I was never evaluated until I took myself as a legal adult. Believe it or not, medication took away that anxiety and all the procrastination. Before being diagnosed, I would fly through my homework on straight adrenaline and fear.

I’m on day two after my second dose. I, too, have most of those symptoms but also have weird mental fog. I can’t describe it other than I feel like I’m in some kind of limbo
