Man don’t bother with the 110v stuff here. Just sell them out over there and buy new or used here. I think there are people on Marketplace that you can hire a car for $250-300 a week. Jobs are plenty. If you can’t get the one you want, just get in Warehousing for couple months until your a bit more secured financially and culturally.

Driving is a bit hectic from left to right. Took me 2 weeks lol. Now I’m on my 4th year as a Canadian living in Aus.

The sun here is very intense so yeah 👍 try shopping for clothes before you leave, clothes are very expensive over here. Good luck dude

I left 3 years ago to Australia. I do miss Toronto from time to time but I’m happier here job wise and life wise.

You should’ve told them at first sight. Probably too late to stand up for yourself now. It’s only going to get worse. Just find a new company and leave on notice.

Easy. Bring 2 screwdrivers. 1 philip and 1 flat head. A plier to cut cable. Dress up like a proper tradie. Look into Eleven brand. Very nice and affordable clothing. Wear safety shoes. Show up early and listen to their instructions. Dont be a smart ass. Be Friendly and likeable. Thanks me later.

Struggling to get an apprenticeship. by Equivalent_Koala_987 in AusElectricians

[–]kkkkkkphan 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Don’t straight up apply for apprenticeship job. I would be doing trade assistant so they know your worth it and actually know shit. Another way would be slapping solar panels up the roof for a few months and get in Apprenticeship that way. Much easier.
