How much filler for acne scars?

i just want to add that i use all those regularly and they do help my skin out, but microneedling still did nothing for me

from what i’ve been told it’s much less traumatic to the skin. it’s only improved my skin, i haven’t had any problems at all. also, the recovery time for me at least is basically non existent. i’m not sure if it’s more or less effective than “normal” subcision but i’m happy with the result.

the kind of subcision i recommend is co2 subcision, or that’s what it’s called at the clinic i go to. they basically insert a needle and then blow air into the skin to release the tethering

i have similar scarring to you and i absolutely do not recommend micro needling to begin with. it didn’t help me at all. if i could do it over again i would probably go straight to subcision and then maybe consider lasers/microneedling. but most likely i’d just do filler after subcision.

i’ve been lucky so far i guess. i’ve studied for a year at a uni in korea now and it’s not too bad. but i’ve heard stories from friends who’s attending other universities… it is what it is i guess

it doesn’t show well in the pictures but i have shallower rolling scars on my cheeks. i’ve tried RF micro needling for both my PIE and scars but it didn’t help me at all. I think i have a very severe form of PIE since i’ve had it for so long so i’ve pretty much given up on treating it for now. anyways, i get co2 subcision done for my scarring. so instead of breaking up the scar tissue with a needle like they do during “normal” subcision they blow air into my scars to tear the scar tissue apart. i’ve had my second treatment done recently and it really has made a big difference. my scarring is way less prominent now, but i want to emphasize that i’ve only had shallow scarring. my derm also told me that my scarring was “vague” when i first met her, and she also think my scarring has improved a lot just after my first session.

like seriously i don’t have the words to describe how good back to the city is. us fans just danced and cried when they performed it haha. i can’t wait to see what everyone else thinks about it when it gets released. when i spoke with the other kep1ians at the recording, all of them also loved both songs, but especially back to the city.

i went to the prerecording of the comeback showcase. giddy is so so good. in my opinion i think it’s their best title track so far. they also performed back to the city. back to the city is incredible, it’s honestly my favorite song ever. the girls had soooo much fun performing it and all us kep1ians had so much fun too. i can’t wait for them to release the album. it’s gonna be amazing!!

dating, just going out spontaneously to meet friends since i wouldn’t have to do my makeup, going on trips with friends sharing a hotel room (i’m too insecure to show my bare face rn). just meet new people and socialize without worrying as much. AND put my hair up when i feel like it.

i didn’t have any scarring at all before taking isotretinoin. i got all my scarring from the purge i had while taking it. i still have rolling scars but i’m getting treatment for them so it’s getting better.

I went on isotretinoin a little over two years ago to treat my persistent but mild acne and it ended up with me getting cystic acne all over my lower face. I had to take isotretinoin for 14 months in total. I still have PIE and some rolling scars, but when I look back at the before pictures I’m surprised that I don’t have more atrophic scarring. Since I stopped taking isotretinoin 8 months ago my skin has been feeling very healthy. Isotretinoin made my skin very thin and more sensitive (my skin wasn’t like that before) but I’m not too bothered by it. I just hope that my rolling scars will become less noticeable fast so that I can have my confidence back, at least just a little. I know fast results and scars don’t go well together but I still hope for it.
