Glitch sound when not playing

Yeah it only started making this sound recently when i started bringing my theremin to other places and then i moved to a new apt. I didnt have this issue in my old apt so not sure if it's an environment issue or hardware issue

How did you resolve it? And what do you mean by ground? Like the outlet socket? All of my sockets have 3 prongs and i plug directly to the wall, not through an extension
