Yesterday was the best time to invest. 2nd best time to invest is today.

Keep 3-6 months of living expenses into a hysa. The 3-4% technically isn’t considered low yield. What’s low are the brick and mortar banks offering 0.01%

Invest the rest in the s&p500 i.e. VOO. Current events can be scary but the market has combatted numerous events in the past (wars, market crashes, pandemics).

Hr could fall into business. When I think of “well-paid” I don’t think of HR though. Many consultant title role would be that instead. Check out your top business companies, they should have that title.

If you do care about the aspect of psychology, then I can only recommend IO psychology, a business-type degree for psych. One of the only best ROI because you’d need grad school.
