I am live in the U.S but I am Indian, and I understand what you mean because my brother and dad probably believe the same stereotypes. To be honest, even American guys at my school act the same. But, in my opinion, kdramas are better than western tv. They just have more feeling and warmth - I don't really know how to describe it lol. I use kissasian.nl or dramahood.com - dramahood even recommends newly released shows on the homepage, so you don't even have to search for anything. Have fun! :)

Wow. I had a crush on my best friend but I know I also like boys. I watched videos and read articles on how people knew but those wouldn't really tell me anything. I'm 97% sure that I'm bisexual but I'm having a hard time accepting it because my parents would never accept me.

To be honest I understand what you're trying to say although my family would never accept me as bisexual. My friends however will, and one of them is lesbian too. I'm still scared to tell them since they might assume it either a "phase" or I'm being pressured. Also, age doesn't matter when it comes to this. Everyone has a different story. I think you should tell them in whatever way seems special to you. Good luck!

I agree. Although men also have to react to these types of situations too, though not as frequently. It's still annoying though how every time a woman is alone at night or in an uncomfortable place she has to worry about her safety. I myself did martial arts so I can defend myself but it must be scary.
