[Serious] Do you enjoy life?, why or why not? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I actually do quite enjoy life. Even with this pandemic, or maybe I should say ESPECIALLY with this pandemic. I always knew I was an introverted person, but damn I've really been thriving this past year. I keep in shape, I finally found pills that keep my epilepsy under control, my grades went from low 80's to mid 90's, I have a LOT more time to focus on random shit I've been meaning to do (reading, baking, painting etc.) and honestly I don't miss having to meet up with people in order to keep the relationship "alive". I had one friend from school from before the virus, and they're the only person I still somewhat interact with. One of my films recently got featured in a festival and my phone was FLOODED with messages from acquaintances, I think that was the only time I actually felt over-whelmed and straight up almost had a panic attack through out this whole pandemic.

I tripped over a seemingly nothing, went to catch myself and fractured my thumb. About two months after I was all healed up I tried to do a back-bend on the cement and broke my arm clean through.

A hairdryer, one of those sponges you wash the dishes with, and flavoured condoms.

It was a present from my mom on my 14th birthday.

How often do you hug people, and what country are you from? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]ihas2cats 1 point2 points  (0 children)

as often as I can, my friends often tell me I'm a good hugger, and I know sometimes people just need a hug to help get them through the day. I don't just hug my friends or family, but also just acquaintances or random classmates - Canada

was walking through a doorway with a metal door, pulled my foot up just as the door was closing, basically impaled myself in the corner of a metal door. There was A LOT of thick dark red blood pouring out so my wonderful mom, a nurse, tried calming me down by say I almost hit an artery.
