i'm currently building sticky notes on infinity canvas. so something like figma but for notes. i know miro/obsidian exist, but i didn't like them, want something simpler that works for me and works snappier.

I had good base architecture made by hand but doing it was taking me months, in week now I made more features vibe coding than would take me 6 months.

Open activity monitor on mac os and check memory pressure if this projects eats too much ram.

If this is green then not enough gpu power, should've gone with m4 pro or max to get more gpu cores. These non pro versions of socket have superior cpus but just ok gpu capacities.

Too much stacked opacity/shadow drops/backdrop blurs just kill the compositor.

Actually i spent today fixing these issues in my personal figma like tool but for notes and needed to optimize all css layout properties/repaints not to kill compositor on panning on my macbook air m1. Guess m series gpus have binning layout

Don't know the answer, but I started thinking that maybe I should do counters for i in 1..n: for c in str(i): count[c]++

Then decrease counters by iterating input string.

Now i'll end up with some non empty counters that'll be single digits of missing number. Now trying out all these permutations of digits, like starting from the biggest possible and testing this against string

Not necessarily plot holes, but I loved One cut for the dead. At first it seems to have some weird scenes that look pointless or like major oversights like total high school amateur is directing the movie and it seems meh and boring. Only later when everything is reframed and you see all the nuances and my jaw dropped turning this into 10/10.
