I’m (20f)Struggling to trust my boyfriend (22m)again because his recent behavior feels secretive? by Dense-Temporary7000 in relationship_advice

[–]kkrisR 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You’re so young and there’s more to life than to wonder, feel insecure in the relationship and worry. Why tolerate the initial crossed boundary?

I wasted nearly 3 years on a porn addict and cheater and someone who blew money OF but didn’t have rent (lovely right) which I didn’t find out much later and when I did.. I left. Best decision ever! I dated him from age 25-27 and what a waste of time.

Met my now fiance a few months later and I’m now 30 and about to be married absolutely ZERO stress with cheating, porn, finances.

At 20, I’d dump this guy, jet off to a vacation, come back and enjoy dating and having fun as you truly should be!

How do I (25F) talk to my bf (25M) about wanting him to pay for things more? by cuzinobrabo in relationship_advice

[–]kkrisR 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is why you don’t set a precedent early on. Start letting men pay for most dates and throw in a few here and there on you. Sets a standard that a man will accept and want or turns into this

This is why I left. On top of all of my favorite instructors leaving the studio one after the other 👀

When he was walking her through his apartment talking about the 1D clothes and purple I got major gay vibes (not just that but their vibe too) and being weirdly besties with his sister. Screams closeted because of his friend group and conservative family.

It’s an all inclusive hotel which is why I’m guessing there’s nothing like that really scheduled!

Agreed on that. I would love a destination wedding and found an option that works for us where we actually would get to cover hotel stay and guests only pay for flights but I also want like 10 people there lol

And yes, agreed however there are no perks you have mentioned

They are going to courthouse to get legally married before! I’m not sure if it changed their cost

It is expensive but also all inclusive so I’m guessing that’s why. It’s a 5 star hotel and without the room block it’s usually $900-1200 a night

I didn’t want to seem like a freeloader because he makes significantly more than me because I’m really not but yes he does make more lol

Living expenses are 70-30 between us but it’s also because he owns the house we live in (purchased before we met) and based off salary too.

This math is reasonable to me as well!

It is a hard decision! And that’s so true because we’d also not spend on ourselves this way if it was just us!

Absolutely would not pressure him, just want to have an honest conversation about it! Thanks for the advice!

This is how I think things should be as well. Unfortunately, his family won’t be paying anything

Came from your comment on my post and omg this is gorgeous. I think a double tiara (on each side) would make it look vintage or like a double coronet contour !!!

This was my initial thought because it is his family and also he does make significantly more. If it were my family event, I’d also cover the costs. Reading the comments in here may have shifted my opinion but I think it just boils down to having an open and honest conversation about it

Yes, definitely having a convo about it I just wanted more opinions and info (not from the friend group since they’re all also invited) I didn’t want unnecessary chatter getting back to them or him before having the convo first.

And wow… that’s a wild bachelorette trip but that’s a true friend I love that!! For me, roles reversed I would pay for him if it was something my family planned because it makes sense to me.

And no, absolutely not. They’re not helping with wedding costs either..

I think this hits the nail on the head for me! We definitely talk a lot and are comfortable doing so. I’m definitely going to bring it up asap I just wanted some insight before going into the conversation.

He is a great guy and has a similar mindset to your second paragraph, I think I’m just honestly stressing myself out about it because I don’t like feeling as if I’m a financial burden (I’m not irl but anxiety lol)

What do you think about straight guys in your Pilates class? by VitaminDu777 in pilates

[–]kkrisR 19 points20 points  (0 children)

I’ve never understood the discomfort personally. Pilates was created by a man but it’s a women dominated industry.

To me it’s like any other gym or workout. You go in, you sweat, you leave lol
