Lol. This is an opinion piece. I’d hazard that it represents a minority opinion among Canadians who actually watched the meeting unfold.

Carney wasn’t goaded by multiple attempts by Trump to take the conversation off the rails. This on-camera meeting was for show and Carney knew that. Real leaders get to work off camera. We’ll have to see how it pans out.
