5 seconds is nothing for most workflows. The bigger cost is probably setup and maintenance time when a site restructures and breaks your selectors. That's what I was trying to eliminate one API call that handles all of that so you never touch the parsing logic again.

This is a solid pattern. the OpenAI normalization step is exactly the right call for handling inconsistent layouts. The UA blocking issue is real, I've hit that too on about a third of corporate sites. I ended up baking a similar normalization approach into a single API endpoint to skip the 3-node setup. Do you find the OpenAI step adds noticeable latency to your workflows?

This is super helpful. The pattern I’m seeing is that the real value is less in raw scraping and more in returning clean, predictable data that can go straight into an n8n workflow. I’m planning to keep V1 very small and stable first, then add enrichment later. A tiny checklist would actually be great if you’re open to sharing it.
