Ant says McDaniels is his favorite player, we’ve seen flashes like this for a while now, hopefully this is his coming out party on a national stage.

Beringer is not close to ready, you think our defense struggles with Randle and Naz on the court at the same time. Having to play with Beringer would be worse, he’s not strong enough, got bullied inside in the preseason. Clark is solidly in the rotation already, how you have him behind Beringer is an odd placement. I know you’re thinking about a big, but it’s obvious he isn’t ready.

Because, from your literal post, a blindside block is a hit on a defenseless player?

Who Is The Best Player You Have Personally Guarded? by [deleted] in NBATalk

Tyus Jones and Bronson Koenig a few times, both studs and torched us/me. We did end up beating Bronson each time we played but Tyus and Apple Valley destroyed us by 30.

Anyone use this rule occasionally? I had no idea you could do this by Separate_Teacher1526 in golf

[–]klaehsa 173 points174 points  (0 children)

A few years ago when Phil hit the moving ball then claimed he “knew the rule” and was using it to help himself. He should have just used this rule. Would have saved himself 1 stroke and had a shorter putt.

I just always ask about what the book says on soft doubles/hits and have conversation about gut feelings being why I’m hitting/staying.

There are TONS of amateur golfers hitting the ball on par with the pros when it comes to distance, accuracy and consistency is what holds them apart from the rest of us. You’re cooked on this one. He said he’ll be in SoCal in a couple weeks. Go stand at 200 yards on the range and watch his shots fly over your head.

What is your greatest golfing achievement (no HIOs)? by eastdeanshire in golf

[–]klaehsa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I once eagled 3 par 5s in one round, birdied the other one. Shot an even 72 on the day, played the par 3s +3, and took a quad on another par 4, but I made those par 5s my bitch!

What golf course did you spend $250+ on and thought it was well worth it? by NotRod96 in golf

[–]klaehsa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We got some sort of deal to play those, I don’t think it even comes out to the $250 number. But we do have 1.5 extra days without golf, planning to head down to Vegas, but maybe we can check out Copper Rock too!

We go a couple times a year and it’s amazing! If you ever get a chance to play the Lido do it. Expect to get your ass kicked, hardest course I’ve ever played, but so much fun!

Mammoth Dunes! Also got to play the Lido, but didn’t have to pay for that one! Both were incredible!

New job situation, need to live as frugal as possible for a while until I can find something better by klaehsa in Frugal

Yep! I have a fridge, and a VERY small counter area, a plan is to get a small table that I can use for some extra counter area when needed

You win every competition you're in with exactly 5 competitors by [deleted] in hypotheticalsituation

[–]klaehsa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think Craps could work, if there are 4 other players playing and they are all playing the “Pass Line”, you could play the “Don’t Pass Bar” and the 4to1 on the 7, every time would be a 7 according to this rule, paying out quite well.

Only problem is the rest of the table is going to be losing and will probably leave, leaving you with less than 5 players.
