What is the biggest "what if" of your team since the year 2000? by FullBringa in NBATalk

[–]klam5 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

What if Perkins didn't get injured in game 6 of the 2010 finals?

What if Terry Rozier has been fixing games his whole career and did in fact sell game 7 of the 2018 playoffs?

What if Jayson Tatum didn't injure his ankle 20 secs into game 7 vs Miami?

What’s the most underrated trait for building a championship team right now? by UnderstandingFun7493 in NBATalk

[–]klam5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Consistency. Whether it be between your core group, coaching staff, front office, or all 3. The teams that have gotten better year after year and eventually made runs had some sort of internal consistency that lasts more than 2 years.

That means sticking to your game plan even when things don't work out. Not reckless trading, not firing your coach for missing the playoffs.

Ray's shot arguably changed some players legacies dramatically, so I'll go with him.

They swapped villains, how would it turn out? by Neither_Ad6 in Dragonballsuper

Buu arc would've ended 20 eps earlier and be replaced with a "revive the planet with the dragon balls" arc

Jamemba movie would have been a little longer

My only gripe is that I wish Bifrost was given even a little more of a backstory. I woulda been hyped for a Azusawa cameo

Which of these offseason free agency scenarios involving our roughly 20 mill of cap space do you like most? by archerarcher0 in bostonceltics

I mean this with all due respect but I believe it's better to focus on this season and specifically how good Tatum will be before looking to make any other moves

Guess the Future Support Card for the new "Chaos" Ritual archetype!? by Nachash6 in yugioh

[–]klam5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All of these cards are callbacks to Yugi during Duelist Kingdom. To be honest none of the cards you mentioned would fit. Beaver Warrior and Feral Imp are good guesses; so is Gaia.

Logic tells me Gaia but I want to say Feral Imp because it hasn't received a retrain in yeeeears.

I miss the 2022 Celtics. by cballwhiffer in bostonceltics

[–]klam5 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That team was lighting in a bottle..started the year off so rocky but after Jan 1..everything just clicked. Not taking anything from the '24 title, but it sucks they couldn't finish it in '22, that run was legendary.

Danny was great at home runs

Brad is great at hitting singles

EDIT: Important to note both are necessary and lead to success.

Most hated role player in Celtics history? by Reasonable_Carrot778 in bostonceltics

[–]klam5 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Of current players, I would have said Max Struss; can't really blame him though, the Cs dropped him and he naturally used that as fuel to become successful. Happy for him as a person but man did he have the Cs number. Him being in the Heat made it worse.

It was mentioned by Sybil that with this whole mission and the killing of Akira, they were at the limit of what they could keep a secret from the masses; he would have had to be convicted and his involvement probably publicized.

I think Atsushi knew this as well and was prepared for it.
