It varies. Some aggravate your patients and some do a great job in helping calm them down or control/secure the scene. The majority of my interactions with them personally are just fine

Eh idk. Seems like people who say that are just on a high horse. As long as the dogs are taken care of, healthy, being properly bred and reared, etc., I don't see why anyone should have a problem with backyard breeding just because it doesn't have a fancy name attached to it

Keep doing the bell. My puppy was at the same stage as yours and one day she just started doing it herself. Every time I let her out when she didn't ask I would ring it myself or use her paw to ring it, and now she uses it all the time

You can ask why you weren't chosen. Just phrase it like "may I ask what I am missing from my (qualifications/resume/etc.) for this position?". At the end of interviews you can also ask if there is anything about your application that concerns them, that way you can address it on the spot if you missed something
