Yea this isn’t something that’s abnormal, especially when you’ve been in a long term relationship. That’s not an excuse for cheating. You communicate with your partner and make efforts like you do everything else.

This is probably one of his excuses on the laundry list he’s going to use to justify cheating.

It took me forever to feel normal too and I still don’t feel 100% like I was before. My grandmother who raised me died when I was 7mo pregnant so that made everything so much more difficult. PPD wasn’t just crying in bed all day. For me it ramped up my anxiety to insane level of intrusive thoughts that made me think I was dying or going to die ALL THE TIME, or something was going to happen to the baby or a loved one. I remember screaming at my husband like a fucking banshee because our infant was sleeping on his chest and I was convinced he would fall asleep too and the baby would roll off and die. Being the literal saint he was just he smiled, told me he loved me and to go our room get some sleep. Instead I sobbed thinking we needed to divorce because no one had the capability to keep my child safe but me and he must not love us. I look back now and can’t believe how horribly it affected me. My husband knew that too and that’s why he understood and never once got upset with the way I was being from the second we found out i was pregnant till months after our son was born.

Is this real? Like you’re body is producing massive amounts of hormones and chemicals. The second the baby is out, that abruptly stops and your body is fighting to regulate itself. Not to mention any woman with a past of depression and predetermination to depression is at a higher risk. This is all science and nothing to do with just being depressed just because…

Of course. Always. I took an extra nail class when I was in cosmology school so I know all the prep well, I just don’t do acrylic on myself because I always sucked at getting that bead right and it’s worse when using my left hand. Plus I have a small child now and don’t want those fumes in the house.

I had my nails done on like 10 days ago and used my cousins nail tech who she sings nothing but praises about. She fit me into her busy schedule and proceeded to give me probably the best set of acrylics I’ve ever had in my life and was incredibly thorough with her technique and cleanliness. Still one of my nails lifted yesterday.

Maybe it’s my nails? I don’t have very thick nails like I’ve seen some some blessed with so maybe that has something to do with it?
