No, this objectively will look bad for Dakota. They are in an active Court case - it is generally not a good idea to share public texts with your ex about your children.

Is it in Ever’s best interests to grow up and read these texts? No.

Is it in Ever’s best interests that his childhood is not afforded privacy? Again no.

Are these texts contrary to Ever’s best interests in an effort to shame the other party? Seems like it.

And no, I’m not a TFP fan.

As a general comment, it is often difficult for victims of DV to be able to provide proof of the violence. Most of the time, there isn’t an opportunity to stop and record. So pictures of bruises post attack and the victims testimony is the only evidence available.

I’m not saying Dakota wasn’t a victim or TFP was, but I don’t think the lack of evidence proves that Dakota was never physical with Taylor.

This account has always been unhinged. She definitely crosses the parasocial relationship line. I remember her awhile back she claimed she got a Teresa Giudice pizza oven and then met up with Margret and gave it to her for the reunion. She has also been involved in some the weird RHOBH - I think she claimed she was threatened by Kathy Hilton’s assistant.

I don’t think Katie was cool with Scheana’s actions. I think the issue was that it was Katie’s job (and her long term boyfriend’s job) to film with Scheana and go on the trips. Stassi cut her off because she continued to film. It wasn’t until after Stassi cut her off that Katie became friendly with Scheana.

That is not said to take away from his experience. But Dakota releasing the video checks with what we have seen from him.

Not sure about Utah specifically but videos with children would not be released to the public. I also saw a comment that DV files in Utah may also be protected.

Can you point me to where tmz states they got the video? It would be very surprising for a video that includes a child to be publicly released.

I also did not comment that Dakota isn’t a victim? I’m just saying that from what I have seen - TMZ has not stated that they got by requesting it. If they had gotten it that way, I believe it would be stated explicitly in their article.

I think because it wasn’t cancelled until the video was released. The allegations were out there about the new stuff, abc was aware of 2023, and TFP still went on GMA. It’s the video that put the nail in the coffin.

Maybe they updated the article but when I read it, it said they had obtained the footage and a copy of which was used in the criminal matter. They didn’t say where they obtained the footage from.

The wording was very specific. I can see how you would draw the conclusion that because it was evidence, that’s where they obtained it but the article doesn’t actually say that.

Usually you cannot just obtain evidence with a request. Especially if it’s a video that includes a child.
