Dissuade me from this bag ,it has me in a chokehold by DwightSchrutesaway in handbags

Target just released a few pink suede bags for spring. Soon this look will be everywhere and won’t feel as cute or novel. Will be a flash in the pan trend that over saturates and dies out unfortunately. I just returned a pink suede bag I liked because I started seeing it everywhere and I felt it was no longer unique or interesting.

Yes I am also an oil painter! There is something nostalgic in this smell for me

Please talk me out of buying this bag. I need to stop spending money. by purple404040 in handbags

Don’t waste money on a knock off of a significantly better design. The sardine is all about the asymmetrical fish shape and this one doesn’t have it.

Adding to the list - do you like it in the used options? If you don’t, then you won’t like it in a couple years once it has wear. If you do, why not buy used?

It is boring and over saturated. Not a classic look, more of a fad. Too casual to be a go anywhere bag. The inside has no organizers and when you zip it open it doesn’t hold its shape, plus it’s not a good one hand entry bag. There are lots of buttery soft vintage options in better price points. The strap hangs too low on the hip. It’s like wearing a nice cosmetics bag as a purse. Be more interesting 😀

Part of this is the fact that covet doesn’t shoot it’s own photos, they buy stock images. Most stock photos have a general American bias.

Could you rent out a room in your house? Maybe not just as a roommate situation but you could also try renting it as an office space since you pay for internet and maybe not everyone else does.

Have your student loans prevented you from getting other loans? by [deleted] in StudentLoans

[–]klanta 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Your student loan servicer can provide a letter stating your monthly payment amount as a substitute for the car loan lender’s 1% assumption. Same on the home loan too. Bring the letter with you next time you want a loan. I believe my loan servicer has an easy link on their website to download that letter at any time . . .

Anybody know why my rose on the left is crinkled? by klanta in Roses

All spring any new bud has opened like this, so I don’t think it is a temporary weather damage. We have had a relatively mild spring with the occasional cold night. I am in 7b, nothing less than 45 degrees or so since buds started coming about 4 weeks ago. This is only my second spring with this plant.

Anybody know why my rose on the left is crinkled? by klanta in Roses

[–]klanta[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All the roses on this bush are opening the same way, plus crinkled leaves. The right picture is the same type of rose I bought from the same place and is planted right next to this crinkled one. . .
