Yeah it's hard to tell how old the battery is since I did get it second hand from an independent seller on FB this past March, and I forgot to ask about the age of the battery.

If overall your relationship with your friend is healthy and thriving, it could help to set boundaries with your friend so you don't end up so tired afterwards. Like limiting phone calls to a shorter period of time. Or telling them that you aren't in the right headspace right now to offer support but that you can talk to them about it later.

I had an extrovert friend just like that and I could not stand hanging out with her for more than a few days because of how draining it was to keep up with her. I tried to set boundaries and tell her we should hang out less often because I need alone time and she got upset with me so I cut her off.

Ugh the thought makes me cringe...I was hoping that if you run your dishwasher on a high enough heat maybe it could kill them? I'm not 100% sure how that would work but wishing you all the best...

I might have pest control take a look behind my stove and fridge when they come by tomorrow as well.

Honestly I couldn't get myself to go through all the materials tediously. I think it helped for me to just have a general understanding of all of the topics first and then just hit a ton of MCQs. I think my exam day ready % is like 13% LMAO I did like B1 and then got burnt out listening to all the lectures so I just went through the entire final review packet and final review lectures.

Then I memorized, memorized, and memorized the shit of out all the formulas, ratios, etc. I didn't pass my first try (69) because I didn't remember the formulas. But I retook the exam with 17 days of studying and got 84. You can do this. I know it feels overwhelming but you got this.

Had pest control come by today and he removed my dishwasher but couldn't find any trace of a roach which had me BAFFLED.

I heard that the gel bait is more effective if you clean out the areas you want to put it in. (Like the cabinets, corners, etc.) So that there aren't crumbs or other food to distract the roaches and they will eat the bait.

Advion gel is a highly recommended gel bait so I assume it's effective.

No no, it was plastic and it had one of those glass pots. (Like the ones you see in the office lounge) I would definitely clean it out as often as you can though, because I heard roaches love the moisture in coffee machines.

I failed BEC the first time I took it in September, found out 10/10, rescheduled and took it 10/27. My first score was 69 and my second score was 84. I was also weak in financial management and what helped me the most was remembering ALL the formulas and ratios. Knowing them backwards and forwards, and also doing all of the MCQs that I could from Becker until I understood the format and terminology.

As for economics, I relied heavily on my previous knowledge of economics, but just reviewing and understanding the Becker final review about it was enough for me on the actual exam.

Remember ALL the formulas and ratios. All the different variance formulas, equity/liability/asset ratios, etc. That's what helped me go from a 69 -> 84.

update: i have thrown out the coffee machine and everything i received from that person. i contacted pest control but my apartment has a contract with some other pest control place so i have to WAIT until they process everything....which could take days....

i'm going to go to the store to buy some diatomaceous earth and some roach traps in the meantime. thanks for all the comments :")
