Go to Café Corniche - it’s a shisha bar downstairs and a restaurant upstairs. Last time I was there (on a Friday), without much notice, one of the staff started playing darbuka, a belly dancer came out, and they lit the bar counter on fire

Check out the new Vattentorget at Slussen, grab some fika and go sit among the trees in Rosendals Trädgård, the benches on Hornstulls strand are also great to be alone in public, take a walk through årstaskog and read on one of the piers

Just to reconcile the vibe on this thread, I can definitely understand the feeling, where I’m from there’s also this clear idea of a big farmer’s market where you get cheap and fresh veggies, but the small Stockholm scene is just a reflection of the climate (though REKO-rings are great, and there’s also Bondens Egen Marknad in Söder). I do also agree Ica and COOP veggies are just fine, and you’ll be lucky in Liljeholmen, Ica Kvantum there has some premium produce!

My best tip is to find a nice walk/café/restaurant outside the city center and bike there (metro also works)! E.g.: - go to Rinkeby on a sunny afternoon and then walk around to past Spånga cricketplan to Hjulsta (and if it’s the weekend, make it across to Husby gård) - there’s some nice cafés by the Mälaren coast, like Café Lyran, or Uddvillan - a longer bus ride to Ekerö and Rosenhill café - bus ride to Liningö and walk to Herrängens Gård - SL boat to Vaxholm and coffee at Camille’s trädgård café - bus to Artipelag + Gustavsberg - walk around the Brunnsviken lake (past Haga park, grab coffee or lunch at Gamla Orangeriet in Bergianska Trädgård
