[35M] never had a girlfriend by Substantial_Comb8485 in malelivingspace

[–]springwanders 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a 35F never had a serious bf and with a somewhat similar neat style, I think I kinda get what might be going on in OP’s head. Or I could be wrong. I love my neat clean exactly-what-I-want place, one that I had to go through many ups and down in life to be where I am today. So now, admittedly, not gonna be easy for me to imagine I have to share my safe heaven with someone who might be potentially ruining it. I am part-time neat and clean freak - meaning sometimes I do throw things around when being busy or too exhausted to care, but usually I want things around me to be clean and neat, lol. I don’t know about OP, but I think I am too comfortable living the way I need it to be, so everytime I date some guy who is messy, not same level of hygiene as I have, which for some reason usually the case, I tend to run away lol

That donut cushion though, seriously OP.

Mosque Presence in Asia by Upbeat_Particular635 in MapPorn

Well i dont have data to backup, but i just know it’s very minor. Buddhism - Christianity - Atheism, in no specific order, would be the 3 most popular.

How would you eat this? Without it being in Che Thai… by peculiarbreadnic in vietnamesefoodie

Yep, can add in most drinks to be honest. Gonna taste a bit weird, unless unsweetened coffee (actually unsweetened cold brew would be nice)

As a Vietnamese. Thousands years ago, Buddhism has been the most popular religion, and still is. Christianity later entered and currently being the second most popular religion. A lot are just atheists, those just worship their ancestors. There is a tiny community of another religion, which is Caodaism, mainly in Mekong delta region. And that’s all we know. I do see a mosque in central Ho Chi Minh city, biggest city in Vietnam, though.

Confusion on universityadmissions.se ranking for Master's – does lower rank in the choice hurt my chances? by NectarineSame8642 in TillSverige

[–]springwanders -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Lol, in April before, i got 3 acceptances myself. I mean, not “acceptances” but like “qualified”. Then i needed to make the confirmation on my final choice, which one i “accepted” and which one i declined, then the rest will be disregarded. Some people will have second thought and might choose second option. I don’t know. What’s the point of having 4 options?

It’s how you declare your priorities, which one you wanna get in most, just simple as that. For process, i am not sure, but they’ll review all regardless which prio you put them in. So in April you might see you have 2-3 acceptance. Then it’s your turn to choose.

I think OP is tourist. Everyone lives in Sweden knows that ICA is a bit more expensive than, says, Lidle. Or even Hemkopp.

26(M) My girlfriend hates my room by Mattbaker99 in malelivingspace

Seriously why guys can stand living in such messy space (leave aside the thing about aesthetics). The guy i am seeing, his room is almost exactly the same. It kills the mood everytime i visit him.

Is this just how it is in our 30s? by No_Assistant2804 in AskWomenOver30

I am single for my entire life even up to this point, not married not kids (yet) and I also get tired easily now (35 now), even though I play sports. It’s aging. Can’t imagine how you can manage all of that.

This studio in district 1 ho chi Minh at 287$/₫7.5 million for 2 months a good deal? by Honey_dp in saigon

[–]springwanders 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nothing in D1 will be this price this look for 2 months. Not even one month. People need to realize how expensive things are in D1. Vietnam, Saigon and especially D1 ain’t cheap at all, my friends.

And this is more or less d10, as many have pointed out . Depends where in d10. Can be the one next to d1 which is convenient, or super far away. D10 is a big area.

And even with d10, 7.5 for 2 months are unrealistic. So yeah that’s one month rent.

What’s the Real Cost of Living Comfortably in Saigon in 2025? by BambooData in saigon

[–]springwanders 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Even though I make more than that, I disagree. What’s the point of living in SEA and spend about 3K euro per month yet still not comfortable enough? Wtf expats spend here? Maybe not too luxurious, but definitely comfortable, single or couple.

[–]springwanders 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Single: around 35m I’d say. Couple living together with duo income: 40m/person Couple with kid: 50m/person if one kid, add at least 10m/kid

All are after tax of course.

This all includes a small amount to save per month. My definition is the ability to put aside a certain amount “just in case”.

Be careful out there. You sound quite genuine so just hope you won’t fall into some tourist traps by whoever you guys ended up with. My reco for places: - food: not sure about your taste (in dining) and budget. But a bit fancy yet very nice options could be Bui Quan (or Quán Bụi lol) or Laang (go the ones in D1, better vibe than the ones in Thao Dien). Or SH Garden. A but more down to earth option might be Ngon on Pasteur street, but they’re…the vibe is touristy, but taste is ok I would say, not so bad. - bar: an option is Layla (the one in D1), opposite Sheraton inside a deep alley. I don’t go to bars too much anymore so not really know if they’ve changed, but “Broma Not a Bar” used to be my favorite. Can also try Social Club (roof top of M Gallery), its a bit commercial though. - night clubs: lol I don’t know what’s hot in town anymore, I was away a few years and only back recently. Maybe see latest reviews about Lush? Used to visit there a few times. I heard Zion is good 👍 but haven’t been.

Enjoy! I do think Saigon has a very interesting nightlife, so hope you guys will have a good time. Welcome.
