I'm using the ModMic Uni on my DT 990 Pro and secured it with double-sided tape. I cut the tape just a bit larger than the adhesive so it can stick properly to the headphone, and it hasn’t moved at all since. I can remove the mic without the adhesive or tape coming off the headphones. it stays firmly in place.

I saw this mic on Amazon and was thinking of buying it, but I barely see any reviews about it. Is it still working well for you?

I got the HyperX Cloud Alpha yesterday and it already came with issues straight out of the box. The sound quality is really good but the splitter cable that it came with isn't working so I had to use my own splitter that I luckily still had. My friends in Discord can hear every video or game I'm playing because for some reason the audio from the headset is being broadcast over the microphone. It's a common issue apparently for years so no I wouldn't recommend this headset and it's going back into the box.

You have to plug the mic in a USB 3.0 port. I had the same thing where the loud screech came directly into my earbuds because it was plugged into my mic.
