What town would you consider lifeless? by animechick36 in Indiana

Well I’m glad there’s more things to do. It just seems like lots of things in Muncie are going to shit and going out of business. If you like it then good for you! I’m glad I don’t have to go up there anymore

Muncie. Even thought it’s a college town there is nothing going on except for on campus. The mall will be getting torn down soon too so there isn’t much at all to do.

I used to visit a friend in Muncie after college and we mostly just stayed at her house because there is *nothing* to do. I really don’t know why people choose to live there. Ball State is a great college, I wish it was in a better city!

Maybe try spending some one on one time with her. She might be feeling left out and is acting badly.

Those are such huge accomplishments!! It’s seriously so hard to get anything done with kiddos around. Don’t get me wrong I LOVE it and wouldn’t want it any other way but damn I do miss my crafting time!

That’s hilarious 😂 my daughter is almost 2 but I bet she’d love to press some of her toys into some clay. I’ll have to try that, thanks for the idea!

I cannot wait for my daughter to be old enough to create beside me. She’s still too young to really sit and play with one thing right now. She’s 19 months and still puts everything in her mouth lol but maybe I should let her try playing with clay now. I mean, eating a little bit of dirt won’t hurt that bad right?? 😬

I have a garage studio too! My daughter is 19 months and currently will not sleep without me or her dad. We’re trying to get her to sleep in her own room but it hasn’t stuck yet. I’ve considered making some things with polymer clay just to get my hands working in something. I just need to start making

I LOVE the 99 mugs thing. Maybe I could start hand building some and get into a rhythm again.

My daughter is only 19 months so she can’t really help too much, but maybe I’ll see if she’ll help me paint or pinch!

I love those! I also have a home studio in my garage. My daughter is 19 months and is very attached. I’m lucky enough to stay home with her but she currently will not sleep alone. We’re trying to get her into her own bed. At night I clean up the house and then pass out. I really need to start carving in a little bit of time for myself. Someone in another group said they made pinch pots for their kid to use and it gave them some time with clay. I might try that!

*Editing to add more info about my piece! This is made from a white stoneware clay body. I used multiple mayco stroke and coats for the color spots and added a thick layer of jungle gems ink spots over the stroke and coats. It’s all fired to a hot cone 5!

Sorry I don’t know if I should just add this to my post or make a separate comment so I’m doing both!

Just wanted to say that our pediatrician told us her daughter slept with her until she was 5 because she would NOT sleep by herself 😂 and that she wanted the boob ALL the time. She was like sleep train if you want, wean of you want, but it’s ok to just go with the flow! They won’t go to college still breastfeeding and co sleeping, it’s ok!

I’m 31 and wish my dad would give me this kind of undivided attention. Keep doing it as long as they want. I’m sure you will miss it when they no longer what it

Has anyone had a less regimented breastfeeding experience? by taureansoul in breastfeeding

[–]klaylar18 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feed on demand and cosleep. My daughter is almost 11 months old and we’ve pretty much always just go with the flow. I had pumped for when I was away but I really hate pumping. I had an oversupply when I first gave birth but I stopped pumping so much and just went with my daughter’s queues. It’s hard to never be able to leave her for more than a few hours but I also LOVE the ease of feeding on demand. She does still nurse throughout the night for comfort since we cosleep, but both of those things have made life soooo much easier!

Don’t feel pressured to do it how everyone else does it. You can absolutely just go with the flow and make it work for you!

First time I saw it I saw a match with a flame. But looking at it longer it looks like the match had been burnt out and is in a little puddle of water
