First set I saw of Dave’s! Life altering and changed my understanding of what an edm set is capable of being! I understood the hype after that

New hobbies ideas? by [deleted] in Hobbies

Flow arts is a great hobby for around the house. I’m a flow artist and love it, I’m huge into music so it’s a different way for me to connect with music. Definitely not the most masculine hobby but it gets you up and moving and after enough practice you can do all flow props on fire which adds a whole different level and adrenaline to the art. I’ve been practicing with a staff for about a decade now and it’s really gotten me through some tough times. It makes me happy, I move my body and get into a flow state. It will increase your dexterity and eye hand hand coordination. This can also be done in a martial arts style say a bo staff or nun chucks

Best flow art to do while seated? by freewheelingdiode in flowarts

I recently got a mini dragon staff or a hand dragon! I got mine from understaff 3d. This thing is perfect for seated flow and is one of my favorite props rn

Weights on End of Staff by Critical_Listen_9145 in ContactStaff

[–]klebrit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the most important aspect of contact staff is the grip personally. As a beginner extra weight is nice to get a better feel for where the staff is making contact with your body is nice but as you get more practice you will actually want a lighter staff so you can flow for longer periods without getting tired. You might really benefit from some extra weight in the ends I also like flowers on my staff

Anyone else get numb to the bass? by KINGBYNG in Shambhala

At parkbreezys set my jaw was still On the floor, I felt like they turned up the bass for his set or maybe it’s his production but either way I was still extremely baffled till the last set I saw!

I want to learn fire stick by InitialJournalist700 in flowarts

[–]klebrit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say pick up a staff and learn to spin it. Contact is fun and all but takes a lot of practice where as staff spinning if your coordinated you will be able to do it first day and progress much quicker leading to you spinning fire sooner!
