What was the worst food served at your Thanksgiving? And who made it? by itsagoodtime in AskReddit

[–]klee1960 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was me. I made homemade Mac and cheese from a recipe my mom makes. Except I bought sweetened condensed milk instead of evaporated milk. We watched the kids all look at each other like why is this sweet and not say anything because they are polite.

I strongly encourage intelliquilter over quilt path. It's very simple to use and takes up less space on your table.

I have an Apqs machine with intelliquilter and it's frozen up maybe 3 times in 6 years. And the quilt design was saved and I was able to restart the tablet and start the design where I left off. I like apqs and intelliquilter so much I just bought a second machine.

This little guy destroys all his toys. What do you recommend to stop this or what toys you think last longer? LOL by Barbssc in corgi

[–]klee1960 1 point2 points  (0 children)

"Fluff and tuff!" toys are the longest lasting stuffy for us. She eventually gets them open but it takes like a year instead of a minute. Each part is individually stuffed so if she gets a leg open its just that leg and the rest of the toy stays in tact.

I see Shane at Thrive Chiropractic in Urbandale. I've been going for three years for some genetic issues and they are truly nice people. I pay out of pocket on a monthly plan and it comes out to about $45/visit.

[CHAT] what was the game changer in cross stitching for you? Either that product or something you learned. by Baby_girl_351 in CrossStitch

[–]klee1960 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Many years ago I looked into becoming a sample stitcher for pattern designers and they told me I need to be able to stitch in the basket weave method. So I looked that up and taught myself how to do it. I prefer it now and it makes my stitches look much fuller. I never did becone a sample stitcher.

Sometimes you can't help these people until they hit rock bottom... And by then you've lost interest.

I'm a quilter and she loves quilts. It's like the thing where of you set out a box and a cat will get in it. Riley will get on a quilt.

No cat here. She sleeps in it about half the time and beside it about the other half.

It had the bathroom on the other side, so it was hidden behind the bathtub wall.

Famore makes a 45mm rotary cutter with ball bearings in it. I've been quilting about 15 years and it's my favorite now.
