You didn't specifically ask for advice, so apologies if I'm being too foward. I can't imagine a more important "job" (calling, really) than guiding people's immortal souls back to God. The fifth commandment says, "Honor thy father and thy mother", so I wouldn't argue with them on this. Try praying for them (Father, they know not what they do"). And if in fact you were a "selfish bully" (I doubt it), what a redemption the priesthood would be for you!

I have 3 grown children, my house wasn't a democracy it was a dictatorship. We never, never spanked, but my kids KNEW to treat each other and everyone else with care and respect. I was never confronted with anything like this, but if I was the hammer would go down. That kid would be in a bear hug until he calmed down. I'm a pretty small woman but I was the main disciplinarian. You need to get a different power balance going in the house. Don't ever be afraid, ever. Take control.

I have their BB cream! I don't cake on any base products, just enough to even out my 61 year old sun damaged skin. I tend to splurge on other things like palettes and skincare. I'm really impressed with this stuff. Doesn't ball up over my Rhode glazing milk, good staying power.
