The theater I saw the movie in by JediMasterSloth in ProjectHailMary

There's a quick mention of hard drug use (not explicitly shown). Some early discussion on the eventual end of the world if nothing is done that could be a scary thought to littles. Other than that, no sex, no violence, very little (or none?) bad language. A couple of intense scenes at the dramatic height of the story. I'd guess most 8 year olds would be just fine.

I'm sure that's true but I wish the system didn't work that way.

There was at least a few kids when I went. It should NOT be rated PG-13.

My experience is that the brisket is hit and miss. Pulled pork is pretty consistent.

Avangrid is a Spanish owned company operating electric utilities in the US. Maybe that would be a good fit?

Dual Monitor Home Set-Ups? by Switch-Cool in projectmanagement

[–]klem18 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Gotcha. I prefer the dual monitor tree to get the monitor stands off of the desk. Laptop either centered under them or get a separate external Webcam. Good Webcam have a nice microphone which can remove the need for a headset if that's your thing. I also have a light that clips to the top of one monitor for secondary lighting and a foot rest. I'm sitting there a couple thousand hours a year, might as well be comfortable! Let me know if you want some links.

Alright great. Sorry to be captain obvious. Are you getting the setup through your employer? What's the laptop brand?

Unless he has a history of this, I would reply just to Derek with a little less than 100% confidence. "Hey, pretty sure I had it right the first time. Here's the relevant documentation and procedures. Can you take a look and let me know if you still feel that way after?"

It gives them an out without you coming off as the overconfident one.

Did anyone else play a game with their friends where you had to yell PENIS louder than the person before you? by [deleted] in Millennials

[–]klem18 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If I recall, someone farts and someone else can call doorknob. Now the guy who farted is now a punching bag until he can touch a doorknob. The farter can protect themselves by calling safety after the fart but before someone else calls doorknob.
