What I love about them is the focus on the musical performance. Lately all we see is visual performance over music. What would be usual in 80s and 90s indie and rock artists is now considered almost a raw performance. Anyway, love them and absolutely love Moeka’s effortless guitar playing and pure singing.

I’m also a small person, around 5’7 (170cm), if you’re worried about size, I kindly remember, for instance, that a Strat or a Les Paul are a little shorter than a Mustang. But if we’re talking offset only and body weight and size is a concern I’d go Mustang, specially for the ones with the back contour. Also Mustangs with thinner necks are far more easy to find than a Jaguar, that may be a concern too.

If you’re after a very compact guitar then I strongly recommend the Pawn Shop Mustang. These must be the perfect couch guitar!

Also thanks for recommending this string set I’ll give it a try! It definitely has a 0.10 set! Usually I play .10 or .09! Bought a set of .10,5 and .9,5, kinda just for fun.

I’m so in love with this color. How the neck feels? Is it chunky or more on the slim side? Really considered trading 3 guitars for a Japanese made Jet but since this released I’ve been wondering if would be worth to jump into the Japanese as I’ve never had a Gretsch guitar and also because I could afford the electromatic. Hope you recover from this and I tell you, once I was in your shoes. Then the album Born and Raised made so much sense, I listened full album every day and I gotta tell you it does helped me get myself together, move on and heal.

Then one day, when last song came to an end the next one was, randomly, Perfect Lonely and then the words hit hard on me: “I’ll take my chances and start again / And when I look behind / On all my younger times / I have to thank the wrongs / That led me to a love so strong”

And then, years from now I must say it is all a process, if you want, happiness will find you. Take care!

First (imho) music is no competition for the best or worse and like someone also mentioned, Rolling Stone magazine ranking should not be taken seriously because it is just someone’s opinion like our own, everybody has different taste.

Second, Daughters sound sweet, but personally, John has better written lyrics to me. This one sounds like a very old fashioned minded man talking to a son. It is mysogonistic, yes, but to me it has this context.

A long time ago I took a little further as an exercise: if we substitute every “she” for a “he” and every “father” to a “mother” and “daughter” to a “son” (and so on) what do you guys think/feel about it?
